Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review September 2015 - outside

Wantable Accessories is one of several different subscription boxes offered by Wantable, including Wantable Intimates, Style Edit, Fashion Edit, and Makeup. At the beginning of the subscription, you fill out a fairly in-depth questionnaire to customize what you will receive in your box. Wantable also accepts returns on any item you don't like, so you get a retail value as well as "your" price that you will be refunded if you return an item.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review September 2015 - preferences

This shows my preferences based on the questionnaire I filled out at the beginning of the subscription. You can change your answers at any time, too. They promise to not send you anything you dislike, and to send more of what you love.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review September 2015 - headband

Ella Headband - Retail $14 / My Price $8.36

This is a cute headband, and I really like the color scheme. Unfortunately, these little beads will get caught up in my hair and drive me crazy. This one's a bit of a miss for me.

The other accessories were inside this box. I like Wantable's new packaging a lot!

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review September 2015 - necklace

Fiona Necklace - Retail $18 / My Price $10.75

I love this necklace! It's exactly my style and the perfect (long) length for me.

Here's a better look at the pendants. I also really like that the chains are different textures!

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review September 2015 - earrings

Kate Earrings - Retail $17 / My Price $10.15

These earrings are really pretty. I like to wear smaller earrings when the weather cools off, but since it hasn't cooled off very much yet, I guess I still have a couple more weeks I can wear these.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review September 2015 - dreamcatcher

Dreamcatcher Necklace - Retail $18 / My Price $10.75

I was super excited when I first saw this in my box, but then I realized that the chain is kind of short. It basically hits right below the collar-bone. This is exactly the kind of thing I need to push me out of my comfort zone!

Here's a closer look at the dreamcatcher. So pretty!

The Verdict: I am always so happy to receive my monthly Wantable Accessories! This month was only one miss, but three huge hits! Plus the value this month was $67, which is fabulous for a $36 box.

What do you think of Wantable Accessories?

I just swapped for 3 jewelry items that came from wantable. I have to say I would be mad if I paid $36 for them. The ring looked pretty in picture but I received a ring made with such low quality I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for it. It has that plastic band that colors when wore/wet. Same thing with the wishbone necklace. The gold color I know is going to come off. Overall, I’m glad I swapped for these items because they aren’t worth more than what I paid for shipping.

Whenever I see dream catches as necklaces I chuckle a little inside…. I am Native American, 1. It’s demeaning to Indian people and 2. Dream Catchers are for sleeping not wearing. Cause we all know we don’t walk around sleeping and dreaming.

Just curious Anna, why do you prefer smaller earrings when the weather cools down?

Hi Erin! I think I like big Earrings in the summer because I wear my hair up more, and you can see my jaw / neck easily. In the winter I have my hair down, wear scarves, big collars, etc., so big earrings tend to get caught up in all that. Does that make sense? LOL

Ah yes, that makes sense! 🙂

I need to find some accessories that will make me feel better about the constant rain we’ve been having.

Seriously, though, I think it is good that different people are reviewing this box because it gives a better idea of the range of products that could get sent out. My style isn’t the same as yours or Liz’s, but the fact that you both got different sorts of things gives me hope. (I haven’t signed up yet but I might.)

I can’t say enough good things about Wantable accessories for me personally.

My very first box was kind of a miss but over time – I’ve gotten better about nailing down what my style is in the categories and they’ve gotten much better about really getting products that I like. My last couple of boxes I’ve been instantly obsessed with everything in there.

FYI – my style is kind of vintagey, boho-chic, with a touch of classic style. And seriously Wantable just gets it/me.

Me too! I rarely connect with the collections I see in reviews, but my boxes have been great for me. My tastes are mostly classic and every day pieces, and I get very few misses. I say give it a go.
