The Monthly Mani Box (MMB) by Scratch is a nail wrap subscription service.  Every month Scratch collaborates with different artists to curate the MMB.

“Our wraps are screenprinted on a thin adhesive with 5-free polish inks.  They go on smoothly and last like real nail polish.  Unlike other nail wraps, ours look like genuine nail polish when applied. Win win!”

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This month’s theme is TRANSFORM.  The card says the theme is inspired by the change in season.  The nail wraps and accents this month are meant to be layered just like we layer our wardrobe during the Fall weather.

Ode To Matisse Wrap - Value: $8.00

How unique are these?!  These nail wraps just scream Falling Leaves and Pumpkin Spice Latte to me.

Flaunt Wrap - Value: $8.00

When I first saw these, I swore they were little purple footballs and thought they were Baltimore Ravens’ inspired wraps.  With that being said… not my favorite wraps this month.  Sorry, not sorry.

Petals Wrap - Value: $8.00

Cuteness overload!! I love these wraps.  They are my favorite this month.  Of course I wanted to put them on Abigail’s big toes, but they’re too big.  Her loss is my gain.  Totally adorable and they will pair well over the gray nail polish you’ll see below!

Color Club Nail Polish in Tall, Dark & Handsome - Value: $8.50

This month we have two additional tools to help us practice ombre nails: a nail polish and the sponge.  I haven’t mastered the ombre nail, but it is fun to try.  I use glue around my nail bed to keep the mess down to a minimum.  Has anyone mastered this at home?  I found this short YT video of quick Ombre nails for those who aren’t familiar with the term.

I’m personally not the biggest fan of Color Club, but I like the color, so I gave it a go!  Two coats are a minimum for consistent coverage and I’m not a fan of the cologne scent.  I do love this color, so I’m keeping it despite the cons.

Midi/Pinky Ring - Value: $4.00

This ring our surprise gift this month. I find it more comfortable around the pinky finger than around the midi because of its thickness.  It’s pretty and I love the antique gold finish.

Verdict:  This month’s box had an estimated retail value of $39.50.  I’m enjoying the creative wraps I’ve received so far.  This month all the wraps were transparent which makes them very versatile for every style and season.  The accents and surprise gift work well with the Transform theme and I love that the Scratch team really puts so much thought into finding and creating unique things for each box.

What did you think of Monthly Mani Box?  What helps you transform into Fall?  Sadly, my brain is still trying to hold onto Summer.
