Juneberry is a new, bi-monthly subscription box filled with lifestyle products that are "for women, by women." They state that their aim is to encourage personal growth and empower women.
Juneberry kindly sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription: Juneberry
The Cost: $28.50 per package (every two months), free shipping, with a discount available for longer subscriptions
The Products: "4-5 awesome lifestyle products such as jewelry, accessories, make-up, wellness products and more."
Ships to: US and Canada (Note: I assume there is additional postage required to ship to Canada, but I can't tell how much from their website.)
The theme for Juneberry's inaugural box is "Little Red Riding Hood - With an Autumn Twist." This month, instead of simply listing out the contents and their values on their info card, they wove the items into a re-telling of Little Red Riding Hood, but with a better ending. Fun!
Cookie Cutters - Value $6
(I'm taking their word for it on the value listed for these.) Cookie Cutters! How cute! I don't think I've used cookie cutters since I was a kid. Plus this recipe for Butterscotch Apple Cookies looks delicious. Unfortunately I never have time to make anything from scratch, but I might try these out with a tube of pre-made dough.
Red Knit Headband - Value $12
I don't think I've ever had a headband like this, but it sure looks cozy! Perfect timing, too, as it's starting to get pretty chilly here.
Astray Pendant Necklace - Value $16
This is my favorite item in the box this month! This is so pretty!
Here's a closer look at the pendant. I just love it!
Artisan Soap Leaves by Daisy Kay - Value $7
I love these leaf soaps, too! They have a warm and spicy fragrance, and they're really beautiful. I'm a big fan of paper soaps, but these are a little thicker.
Essie Magnetic Nail Polish - Value $11
I received this exact nail polish in a subscription box a year ago, and these magnetic nail polishes are a lot of fun. Fortunately I really liked this one, and it's a great color for fall.
The Verdict: I really like this month's Juneberry box! I think I will use everything in the box (except maybe the recipe). I also really like how everything adheres to the theme of the box so well, and it has such a cozy autumn feel to it. The value of the items comes to about $52, which is great for a $28.50 box.
