Happy Birthday Folded Card

Candy Stick Flat Card

This birthday card is blank on the inside. On the flip side of the flat card it says, "You make life sweet." I like the simple design of the birthday card. (And I can always use more birthday cards!)

Record Folded Card

On the inside: "You're a classic."

Thank You Lipstick Flat Card

Heck Yes Postcard

I love the matching envelope on this lipstick card! I was so distracted my the lipsticks, I almost missed that it says "thank you" on the card!

This postcard looks like a photograph of sequins with metallic blue accents!

Wink, Wink Flat Card

You Nailed It Flat Card

On the flip side of this (somewhat creepy to me) winking card it says, "Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge. Say no more. Say no more." (The You Nailed It card is blank on the flip side).

I love the You Nailed It card - it's such a fun kudos card!

Just Because Flat Card

Bandaid Folded Card

On the flip side of Just Because: "I think you're awesome."

On the inside of the Bandaid card it says, "Sorry."

Here's hoping I only need to use the Just Because card!

Hello Notepad

Mini Washi Tapes

I love getting these types of items in my Happy Mail boxes! The notepads are always cute and useful, and I can never have enough adorable washi tape!

What Is It You Plan To Do Print

They typically send out one art print a month - and I never bought so many frames before I subscribed to Happy Mail! (Fortunately, frames at IKEA are pretty cheap!) I think this will be great framed in my office.

Verdict: I like this subscription every month! I paid $15 for this shipment (I committed to an annual subscription up front), and I think the value is great - just a little over $1 an item for completely original works!

What do you think of the October Happy Mail box?

This was not my favorite box-mainly because the color scheme felt a bit dull to me and the lipstick card looked like a sephora advertisement (although the envelope is awesome!) I did love the Heck Yes postcard, and I think the records card will make a great father’s day card. I like the versatility of the “Sorry” card because you can use it for apologies or a get well card or maybe a sympathy card for a friend. I would love to see an office supplies box from them! A bunch of their awesome little notepads, a washi tape, and maybe something else fun like colored staples or paperclips. I think this would be really unique and fun for the office and for students like me!

That makes three creepy eye cards since I’ve started my Happy Mail subscription! But I actually like EVERY other item this month — I usually only like about half and swap away the rest, so this is a great month for me.

I think Happy Mail has had three great months in a row (counting this month)! But I think you’re right about the eye cards being a little creepy/weird/less-giveable.

That Wink, Wink card IS creepy!! I can’t figure out why anyone would send that to someone else.

The quote is from a recurring Monty Python skit. Any fan of Monty Python would think it’s hilarious! 🙂
