The Oxford Trunk is an online boutique that sells very funky ladies' clothing and accessories. I love their style! They have a subscription box that I have been a fan of for some time now, but they recently changed their whole subscription model! It used to be a quarterly subscription, and now it's monthly. Also, you now have a choice among:

* Boho, preppy, girlie, and classic styles
* Large (3-5 items with a retail value of at least $85) or small (1-2 items with a retail value of at least $30, no clothing)
* Pierced ears or non-pierced

This review is of the small preppy box for pierced ears.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Ox Box Subscription Review September 2015 - inside

The Subscription: The Ox Box

The Cost: Large boxes are $50 + $10 shipping, small boxes are $15 +$5 shipping

The Products: Items can include (but are not limited to) jewelry, beauty products, clothing, and accessories.

Ships to: US & Canada (for $20 shipping instead of $10)

Ships via: USPS

Just as a note, these are items that The Oxford Trunk does not carry on its website usually, so I don't have any basis for providing links or retail values. I have heard that they send a lot of their sample items, which would make sense, but I have no way of knowing if that's true or not.

The Ox Box Subscription Review September 2015 - earrings

I never thought I could be excited by gold studs, but these are wonderful! I love the matte finish and the hexagon shape - it gives them an industrial feel. Yet, their size makes them very feminine and yes, preppy! I should have known the Oxford Trunk could put a cool spin on even preppy accessories.

The Ox Box Subscription Review September 2015 - necklace

The other piece this month is this pretty, delicate gold necklace with a disc pendant.

Here's a closer look at the pendant. So unique! This will make a great layering necklace.

The verdict: I have to admit that I was a little afraid of ordering the preppy box, but I'm so glad I did! Preppy is not at all my usual style, but I am so happy with these pieces! As I mentioned, I'm not sure about the retail value of these items, but I think $20 is a great price for a necklace and earrings I will wear many times. I think (generally speaking) that if you like the style of the items that the Oxford Trunk sells in their boutique, you will be happy with this subscription.

I usually get the classic box but for next month I decided to try the preppy box. So I was really happy to see this review and I really like both your pieces. Can’t wait to see what I get next month.
