This is the information card that came in the package, detailing the items enclosed. I like their packaging a lot, and I LOVE that their filler material is dried moss! How clever and eco-friendly!
Original Buff Multifunctional Headwear – Value $20
This is a really versatile piece of headgear! It can be worn many ways for different purposes. It mentions that this can be worn to protect yourself from mosquito bites around the campfire, which is a great idea. I usually rely on smoke to keep the bugs away, but since smoke also prevents me from breathing, this is definitely a better idea!
Sawyer Mini Water Filtration System – Value $19.44
Purinize Water Purifier Solution – Value $15.95
I have been hoping to get some water purification options in one of the outdoor subscription boxes! Hooray! These two products can be used either separately or together as the system filters mechanically and the solution purifies chemically. My husband believes that any water high in the mountains is probably safe, but I’m not willing to risk that with the kids.
Original Good Life Granola – Value $6.50
We never have a lack of need for granola around my house! We love it! This particular brand is tasty, and I love that it’s all natural. I can easily identify all nine ingredients, too! That’s a good sign!
Tenacious Tape Mini Repair Patches – Value $8.10
As soon as I pulled these from the box, my husband tried to snag them to repair his work pants. I don’t think these will even make it to the outdoors! We may have to buy more. These little patches are meant to repair holes and snags in fabrics while on-the-go in the great outdoors. I was thinking jackets, tents, maybe even air mattresses, but I guess we will be trying them on pants first!
The Verdict: This was a great package from Isle Box! Everything in the box was a hit for us! We will definitely put all these items to good use. The value comes to about $70, which is excellent for a $45 box. I also really like that all of the non-food items are so useful, and nothing felt like filler.
