Modern Minerals Tea Rose Finishing Glow - Trial Size Value $2

I attempted to swatch this, but since it has a somewhat translucent finish, no color was showing up on my wrist in the pictures. This is a very subtle powder - perfect for adding just a touch of shimmer.

MyChelle Dermaceuticals Fruit Enzyme Scrub - FULL SIZE! Value $18

This scrub smells so good! It seems to be a fruity/floral mix to me, and I like it! The exfoliation is gentle enough, and this will now become a part of my weekly beauty routine!

Yarok Feed Your Curls Defining Creme - Bonus item

Yarok Feed Your Shine Hair Serum - .5 oz? Value $13.20

I've sampled Yarok in subscription boxes before, and some products I love, and others just don't work for me. This serum is great though - it is very lightweight, and it has that natural scent I just love.

petit-vour-august-2015-juara

Juara Clover Flower & Tumeric Serum - 4 ml total Value $8

I usually complain about sample packets like these since they are pretty much one-and-done once you open them, but I appreciate that Petit Vour at least included two of them. I would say each sample contains two uses. It's a quick absorbing serum - so far I'm a fan.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $41. I think that's a great value for a $15 box, and I like everything I sampled. The full-size scrub is definitely the highlight of the box for me, though.

What do you think of the August 2015 Petit Vour box?

This was my first month receiving this box, and although I have yet to try anything – I’m super impressed!

Petit Vour continues to provide good value in their monthly boxes, and I prefer this month’s box over last month’s. I dislike packets in general, but at least they gave us two Juara serum samples to try. The serum is not oil-based like serums usually are; a little goes a long way, and one packet lasted me a full week. I loved being able to try a new (full-sized!) MyChelle product, as well as the Modern Minerals finishing glow (perfect for me as a light blush). I’ve received Yarok’s Feed Your Shine before in a previous Goodebox and it didn’t do much for my blonde hair, but I’m giving it another go. And the Yarok Feed Your Curls is an added bonus. All in all, I’m pleased with the box!

What I enjoy the most about this box (besides being vegan) is that I’ve been subscribing for over a year now I think and all the products have been different. I haven’t seen the “same box” as last year unlike some subscriptions. They’re constantly making it unique and on trend.

I think I may cancel my Vegan Cuts Beauty Box and subscribe to this one instead. It’s $5 cheaper and I think I like the products they select better.

I got this box and absolutely loved it! This was my second box from them and I am totally enjoying it so far. The hair serum is nice and a little goes a long way for taming frizz on my wavy hair. The full size scrub is gentle enough for my sensitive skin too- a total win! I cancelled Ipsy to start getting this and I feel I’m getting products of a much higher quality (although to be fair Ipsy is a bit less expensive).
