Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review – July 2015 Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included, and the prices of the full-size versions.

Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review – July 2015 Mango

Nubian Heritage Mango Butter - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $13

This is my favorite item in the box! It is super moisturizing (and the scent reminds me of one of my favorite desserts!)

AILA Nail Lacquer in Doolish - FULL SIZE! Value $17

I really like this warm coral creme shade - it seems very appropriate for summer. (Just finally just got summer weather in the past week or two, so now I'm finally all about my summer colors!)

Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Subscription Box Review – July 2015 Toner

Luxe de Mer Organic Rosewater Toner - 1 oz Value $4.25

(Subscribers will either receive the toner or gentle cleanser). I don't always like rose scented products, but this toner has a very subtle scent. And I seem to have a ton of cleanser lately thanks to subscription boxes, so I'm glad I got the toner!

Routine De-Odor Cream in Sexy Sadie - Sample Value $4

I haven't had much luck with natural deodorants, but I'll give this one a try. I like the natural earthy scent, so let's hope it works!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $38. I think that is great for a $15 box, and I think the sample sizes are great this month too. (Plus I'm just in love with this mango shea butter!)

What do you think of the July 2015 Petit Vour box?

Hey! You posted that they have a $30 worldwide service but as far as I know they do not offer that for boxes, only shop item shippings. Please let me know if I’m incorrect as I also review these boxes!

Be very careful. The products are usually good, but the customer service is deplorable. They say they answer emails in 2 business days, but that is far from accurate. A week to 14 days is more the truth. They would not accept a return on a damaged product, as they say they will. They claim they will send a return postage label, but all they offered was some petit voir points. I canceled the gift subscription after the second problem with customer service in 8 months. And I am very laid back. I know problems happen, but customer service is a misnomer with this company.

I have such mixed feelings about this. I love the PV box 99% of the time, but agree that their CS is lacking.

I signed up for a 6 mos sub in May. I already had a monthly, so I contact PV (per their policy) to make sure it is applied to my account. I assumed my 6mos would start in June because I was already charged for my monthly May box. The May box arrives with a broken lipstick. I contact CS, they say they’ll send a replacement. A few days later a pink box arrives. I assumed it was the replacement lipstick, but it was a 2nd May box. I contact CS again, and they say customers must specify that they don’t want an over lap of subs. SERIOUSLY?! Despite telling them I added a 6 mos, and already paid for May, I didn’t specify that I didn’t want two May boxes, so they automatically send a second box? I look at the second May box, unsurprisingly, another broken lipstick. I contact CS again, because now I’m irritated that not only do I have 2 May boxes, I also have 2 broken lipsticks. I wanted to just send the entire 2nd box back, because the “you didn’t specify” is a bunch of crap. I think what should be assumed by CS is that customers DONT want an over lap. What did CS say? They never returned my email. Stuck with the extra box and broken lipstick.

Hi Brooke,

I have been a subscriber to PV for almost two years now, and up until recently, their customer service has been great. However, I sent an email last Monday and have not received a response. I am not sure what is happening with their cs right now. With regards to your broken lipstick, I saw on IG that many subscribers had the same issue. It seems to be that PV is quicker to respond to FB posts, so if you haven’t messaged there, I would suggest doing that. And I agree, a subscriber should definitely not have to specify pertaining to receiving overlapping boxed. That is just ridiculous.

It sounds like they may in the brink of going under

Completely agree. I also received a damaged item, and they did nothing at all to assist, besides adding points which are useless when I received a defective item. In addition, emails get ignored. Cust service used to be good, I am not sure if they have other people working for them now, but it’s not good. I’ve considered canceling over it.

I’m surprised to hear this. I have emailed PV customer service on numerous occasions (including problems with delivery), and they have ALWAYS responded satisfactorily within one business day!

Petit Vour is my favorite sub!! I’m really excited to try the deodorant. I have sensitive skin, so I already use Meow Meow Tweet’s baking soda free daily, but I’ve been wanting to try deodorant with baking soda to see if I’ll have a negative reaction. The mango butter left my hands so soft. I’m super bummed I can’t try my Luxe de Mer cleanser (I’m allergic to eucalyptus). Despite being unable to use one of the products, I still give PV top marks.

I loooooove Nubian Heritage products! Keep them coming, Petit Vour! This is a very generous sample as a little goes a long way. Also, the Routine deodorant come well recommended by several natural beauty bloggers. And don’t miss the 25% discount code for Thoughtfully magazine. It is a natural beauty lover’s dream come true in magazine form.

Got the Nubian Heritage Mango Shea Butter Hand Cream in the Cocotique Mega Box and have used almost the entire tube already. It’s amazing and smells *SO* good.
