Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – June 2015 - turtle

TMNT Talking Bag-Buddy Leonardo - Value $15

Full disclosure, Leo was my least favorite turtle, probably because he was so responsible - and a kid would rather eat pizza and party like Mikey! True to form, this talking Leo says things like "Follow my lead" and "Here we go". You just know Michelangelo's say "Cowabunga". Point Michelangelo.

Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – June 2015 - batman

DC Comics Little Mates Batman Figurine + Sticker - Value $5

This is a small, 2 inch, Batman + 4 stickers. I like anything batman, and it's perfect for my desk.

Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – June 2015 - brainz

Scatter Brainz - Value $4

This isn't the first we've received this - it was actually part of the normal Nerd Block Classic in January. These sticky darts could go well with the Battlestar Galactica Targets from Loot Crate!

Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – June 2015 - minions

Minions Comic - Value $4

I *think* this is an exclusive variant cover. The comic itself is kind of cool - since Minions have their own language, dialogue is kind of pointless, but this reads more like a Mad Magazine with short comic strips showing the Minions at work. I really like the art style as well. Perfect timing with the release of their own movie this month.

Nerd Block Junior Boys Subscription Box Review – June 2015 - spiderman

Spider-Man Tattoos - Value $5

Features 50 tattoos of Spider-Man and villains.

Transformers Magic Paint Posters - Value $4

I could only find value on a 12 sheet set, so I subtracted a bit since this is an 8 sheet set. Just dip a cotton swab or paintbrush in water and use the paint colors at the bottom of each page.

Verdict: This box came in over cost - which is great. I like the selection of items, across different themes, and I would've loved to receive something like this every month as a kid.

What do you think of this month's Nerd Block Junior for Boys?
