This month’s featured gentleman is “The King of Golf”. John goes golfing 2-3 times a month so he was really excited to dig into this box! The other side of the card list the contents and prices. This box comes with a year subscription to Golf Digest (Value: $12) that should start shipping in 4-6 weeks.
GQ Magazine - Value: $6.00
So the first thing that caught my eye was Mr. “Hey Girl” himself on the cover of July’s GQ Magazine. Also, from looking at photos of past Gentleman’s Boxes, it looks like each month the magazine comes tied with a different colored “GENTLEMANSBOX” inscribed wristband.
The other side of the box has a gold gift wrapped paper filled with the curated products for this month.
Billy Jealousy Combination Face Moisturizer - Value: $3.00
Arnold Palmer Half Iced Tea & Half Lemonade Drink Mix - Value: $1.00
This couldn’t have come at a better time. John went fishing the other day and came back a little red. This moisturizer has aloe vera and vitamin E and should help his skin feel better soon. I didn’t know Arnold Palmer drinks was a thing, but John did and was happy to have it. Whatever makes him happy, I guess!
Give Creative Co. Flask - Value: $28
John doesn’t drink anything hard enough for a flask like this, so I can bet the tea mix will be going in here.
Richer Poorer Argyle Socks in Breadwinner - Value: $12.00
John says this is his favorite item in the box! I like them too, they feel super soft, not that I like to rub his feet or anything silly like that. They’re just made well and I love the variety of cool socks Richer Poorer has on their website for the entire family.
TIES.com Golf Club Crossing Cufflinks in Silver -Value: $30.00
This was John’s least favorite item from this box. He says that it’s not his “cup of tea”. But! He’s got a lot of golfing buddies, so I wonder which one will be gifted this pair.
Verdict: July’s Gentleman’s Box has an estimated value of about $89-$92 depending on if you use the card or the value from the product websites. They stayed true to the golf theme and delivered quality items that can be used everyday or saved for special occasions.
