Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – July 2015 “Cheers” - box

Bespoke Post is a monthly men’s subscription box. This is one of my personal favorite boxes - and both Liz and I often find something we love in the box!

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview the new Bespoke Post box offerings on the first of each month, and you can easily skip any month you aren’t interested in your account section.

This month we picked the Cheers box.

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – July 2015 “Cheers” - cheers-info

Each box comes with a fold out sheet detailing the items included and it usually has tips on how to one or more of the items. This month's info card also details some of the best, widely-available, beers that you could find at a local shop. I love this idea - I've tried using the Untappd app to find new beers to try, but often the best one's aren't remotely available to me - so I'll have to use this list to find some new beers to try!

Hermetus Bottle Opener/Re-Sealer - Value $9

This is a first for me. This bottle opener doubles as a re-sealer. This is something I'll need to keep around, especially when enjoying a bigger, 22 oz. bottle. Hopefully it works as easily as it looks.

33 Books Co. beer tasting journal - Value $6.89 on Amazon

Speaking of Untappd - this journal is kind of like the physical version of Untappd! This journal is nice way to keep track of the beers you've tried, the ones you've hated, and the ones you need to have again. I tried a new locally brewed beer last night, so I might need to make use of this right now to keep track!

Here's a view of the detailed notes you can keep about your drinks.

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – July 2015 “Cheers” - coasters

Graf and Lantz felt coasters - Value $24

These coasters are a modern take on traditional German coasters that absorb the moisture from your glass. Traditionally, they are also set over your glass between sips to ward off flies. I like the look, feel, and design of these a lot - they feel high end. My only question is, how long will they hold up if they're absorbing moisture - I guess it will be my burden to test it out!

Gilded Nut Snack Co. pistachios - Value $3.50

This is a great little snack to partner with your beer. I love pistachios, so I'm not sure they will make it until I find a beer to try.

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – July 2015 “Cheers” - glasses

Rastal Teku beer glass set - Value $36 on Amazon

These glasses are beautiful. They were also shipped in a very sturdy cardboard case - so they arrived in one piece. These glasses are specifically designed to aid you in your tasting.

The angular shape funnels the smell to your nose, the flared opening helps boost the aroma-packed head of foam, and the stem keeps your palm from inadvertently warming up your beer.

I've never gone into tasting a new beer like a wine tasting - but I'm willing to give it a shot with these glasses.

Hop Tasting Kit - Value ?

This is an exclusive kit made in collaboration with Finback Brewery. It comes with a guide on how to dry hop your beer - and it sounds really fun to try. Essentially, you take a light beer that is bland and watery (the suggest Bud Light), get them ice cold, add the hops of your choice from the kit, re-cap the bottles, and in 3-7 days they'll be ready to taste test. I'll definitely be trying this out!

Verdict: This is my favorite Bespoke Post box - it's perfect for me. I'm very impressed with Bespoke Post's curation - and this is no different. All the items you received are used to create a unique experience for the subscriber. To me - that's the gold standard for curation.

What did you think of "Cheers" from Bespoke Post?

Wow, I want that box! My sister just gave me Bierfilzl coasters that she got in some airport shop. We love them! They’re absorbent and they look really nice. I’ve only had them for two weeks, so I’m not sure how they’ll hold up in the long run, but for now they work great!

Cool…so it works the same as Hampton Lane, Golden Tote, Julep, Fabletics, and FabKids.

Mine came today and I gave it to my husband as an early anniversary present – he was pretty happy with it. We’re looking forward to trying the hop tasting and will need to check out some of the beers that they recommend too.
