Prospurly Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Info

The box comes with a card detailing all the items included with retail values. The theme this month is "Plan a Picnic."

Prospurly Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Bitters

Roots & Crowns Herbal Detox Bitters - Value $12

Three Little Figs Sparkling Nectarine - Value $12.50

These detox bitters are meant to be used with hot tea, lemon water, soda water, etc. I'm wondering if they can be used as regular cocktail bitters too?

This jam is incredible! It is made with organic nectarines, riesling, prosecco, basil, peppercorn and sea salt. I've just been sampling it with a spoon, but I think it would go great with any brunch or picnic menu.

Prospurly Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Mugs

Classic Old Dutch Moscow Mule Mug Set - Value $44.95

(I couldn't find the exact mugs online, so I'm linking to a similar mug). I actually just ordered a set of these mugs from Bespoke Post for June, so now we'll have 4!

Prospurly Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Spf

Blythe Market Organic Sunscreen - Value $12

This sunscreen is solid in the jar, and turns to liquid when you rub it in. I was worried it would be one of those natural sunscreens that leaves a white sheen, but it rubbed in clear. It doesn't have much a scent either - just the subtle shea butter.

Yes It's Pure Organic Hand Sanitizer in Tea Tree Lavender - Value $7.50

I like the scent of this hand sanitizer spray, but in general I prefer hand sanitizers to be unscented.

Prospurly Subscription Box Review – May 2015 String

Hemp Cord - Value $4.95

Adhesive Squares - Value $4

Chinese Lanterns - Value $4

These items are included to add "personality and ease to your next picnic." They recommend using the hemp for bundling utensils together, tying up the lanterns, wrapping sandwiches, etc. And the adhesive squares for securing labels.

Verdict: I think this is a fun and thoughtful curation of items. The value is great this month too - a little over $100! What do you think of the May Prospurly box?

Just want to give Prospurly customer service a shout out. My jar of jam came open during shipment, I contacted customer service and they sent a replacement carefully packaged to arrive safely. I was so pleased with their response to my delema. This box is awesome & customer service is outstanding. Just wanted to let everybody know what a great experience I’ve had with this sub 🙂

I purchased the first two boxes from the shop. This is my first box as a sub. It’s a hit with the family although I may put the mugs up for swap. I have no room for them! The boys can’t wait to put together the lanterns. I think the lanterns will look festive with the banner that’s coming in the June Globe-In box. We’ll be using everything else! I’m most excited about the tea tree and lavender hand sanitizer.

I don’t see the May boxes in the shop. That is how I purchased the March and April box. Maybe you can check back in a few days and see if it is listed. The shop link is located at the bottom of their page.

Thank you. I’ll give it a try

I’ve been with Prospurly since the first box and continue to be impressed! I love the theme this month and they did such a good job with it. Can’t wait to have a picnic where i’ll use the jam with the suggested brie and baguette and wash it all down with some iced tea with the detox bitters – in my new mule mugs of course!

I love this month’s box; mostly because one of my favorite cocktails is a Moscow Mule. I have been wowed by Prosperly every month I have subscribed and cannot wait to see what next month’s box is!

This is the only sub box that I am consistently impressed with and I never want to swap anything. They are doing a great job so far!

This wasn’t my favorite month, I really liked last month for the terrarium. This month I’m only keeping the mugs that I will probably never use lol. I’ll be listing everything else up for swap soon.

Oddly, I use a moscow mule mug for my toothbrush. I love it and everyone who uses the bathroom asks what it is, etc.

This looks fantastic! I wish I could sign up now! IT appears as though they still have 23 of these boxes left, too. I do love copper look (but I hate tarnish!!). Anyway. I love the idea behind this box, and it is high-up on my box wishlist!

I should have gotten this box. I was waiting for another spoiler, besides the bitter. This is one of those boxes that the items in it seem to be getting better. I do wish that the coupon code would 20% instead of 10%. I would have signed up immediately.
