Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. I have been intrigued with their concept for a while because I think plus-sized clothing is sorely underrepresented in the subscription box market. I have been really happy to have an opportunity to try them out!
Gwynnie Bee kindly invited me to try their service for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This review is of the 3 items at a time subscription from 5/16 through 6/20. I went back to my usual pattern of trying to turn over the items as quickly as possible, but I was out of town for two weeks during this timeframe.
SPRUCE & SAGE - Lush Botanical Blouson Top
Blouson tops just never work for me, which is too bad because this was a really pretty, unusual print. One thing I didn't like about this top, though, is that it had an elastic waist and a belt. When that happens, the belt and the elastic never fall at the same place on the waist, and I think that looks bad. I wish it had just been the belt!
TRISTE - Patch Print V-Neck Tunic
I was worried that this top might look kind of country-bumpkin-ish when I put it in my virtual closet, but it doesn't at all. It's pretty flattering, actually! It was definitely too heavy for this hot weather we've been having, though. This would have worked much better in fall.
This top, however, was super cool to wear, even with a short-sleeve light jacket. I liked the colors a lot, too. This top was great!
LEOTA - Nouveau Sheath Dress In Imperial Mosaic
This dress was a bit short on me, but it would look amazing on someone with nice legs! I really liked it a lot. It was lightweight and so summery. I absolutely loved the neckline on this dress, too! It's a boatneck in the front but has a little bit of a V in the back. It was great to wear with a ponytail!
LONDON TIMES - Faux Wrap Dress In Black & Red
This dress was my favorite item all month! The cut was super flattering! It also had more natural fibers, so it was comfortable to wear even though it was more covering on the arms and legs. Plus, I got a random compliment from a stranger on this dress, which is always a sure sign that it's a winner!
IGIGI - Francine Dress In Mulberry
It was a bit strange to wear two black and red dresses in the same week, but I don't think anyone noticed. I loved the belt on this dress! It's built into the dress, but wraps back around like a kimono belt. It looked great on, too!
Verdict: This was a short month for me due to travel, but I received six pieces in basically two and a half weeks, which is turning out to be about the average for me. I like to wear something different as often as possible, so I generally receive, wear, and return each piece in three days, tops. Over the past four months I've only bought one item, and they were having a special sale (30% off any at-home item) or I'm not sure I would have. I would like to see better prices to keep the pieces, I think they are a little high for used clothing.
I will say that every piece I have received was in excellent shape with no smell whatsoever! I have seen a few comments on the GB site where people have complained of odors, and I have absolutely never had that problem with this service so far. I have also had great luck with sizing! There has only been one or two items that were (oddly enough) too big, but I also always read any sizing notes they may have. Plus, I have loved or really liked about 90% of everything they have sent me! If you are a plus-size woman who likes to wear something different every day, then I would absolutely recommend Gwynnie Bee! It's fabulous!
