Five Four Club Subscription Review & Coupon – June 2015 Package

Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my husband’s style profile is “T-Shirt and jeans.”

My husband has been subscribing for over a year now and in general, is very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Five Four Club Subscription Review & Coupon – June 2015 Shirt

Bellhurst Blue Shirt - Retail Value $60

(100% Cotton)

This shirt is on the formal side for my husband (his style profile is t-shirt and jeans after all), but the chambray fabric and pattern on the button strip keep the look relaxed.

Five Four Club Subscription Review & Coupon – June 2015 Shorts

Keystone Shorts - Retail Value $60

(100% Cotton)

These are made with the softest material ever! They are my husband's favorite item in the box this month. And they are versatile enough to be dressed down or up (if dressing up ever occurs!)

Verdict: When I first opened the package this month, I was thinking they didn't do a great job sticking to Eric's style profile, but he ended up loving the shorts, and the shirt is about as informal as a formal shirt can get!

Do you subscribe to Five Four Club? What do you think of it?

I just figured out the box- which I just received- as well as the one you reviewed above- Is actually from their May look book. And delivered in July. Should we be expecting the June look book styles in August, or the Mark McNary collection?

I’ve thought about this for my husband, but he’s wide and short — 36 x 29. I noticed on the website they ask for waist size but not inseam; do they often send pants? How good is the customer service if I call and ask for help? Shopping is frustrating, as his size is unique (just like him)

Just wanted to say I feel your pain! My husband is 6’4, all torso, no leg!

I would avoid this company period, but especially if your husband has unique sizing (as do I). Their clothes are very fitted/trendy and their customer service is abysmal. I had a miserable 3 month experience with Five Four and would like to save you some headache. Just my two cents.

Thank you for this response. I’ve been on the fence, and this pretty much seals it in favor of “no”.

My hubby got his first box this month. He gets the mixed style box because frankly he needs any kind of clothing! He got kakai dress shorts that he likes but that are too bi so he is going to exchange them for size. He also got a long sleeved faded blue button down with white and red stripes in it. He did not like it at first but I made him try it on and he looked really good in it. He said it was scratchy though so I washed it and even though I knew I shouldn’t have, I dried it and I think it shrunk. Oh well, the tag said I could. So it was a hit kind of.
