FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Speaker

FabFitFun Everyday Wireless Speaker – Value $29.99

This speaker has pretty decent sound quality for its size, and I do love the carabiner clip. Here it is out of the packaging:

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Speaker Open

It was super easy to sync the bluetooth with my phone too. (There’s a little blue light that has been blinking as I’ve been using it, and I haven’t figured out how/if I can turn it off. It’s either a sign that my battery needs charged, that I’m using bluetooth, or something else I haven’t thought of!)

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Wren

Wren Moon Pendant – Value $100

There are a few variations of this necklace: moon, heart, or horse shoe, in either gold or rose gold. I think I like this gold moon combination the best! The necklace is 14Kt gold dipped yellow gold, with 1pt black sapphire stone. It’s 18 inches long, with 2 inches in extender chain, and it is made in the USA too!

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Jump Rope

FabFitFun X CosmoBody Jump Rope – Value $14

It wouldn’t be a FabFitFun box without a “Fit” item, and I think this is a practical one – and it doesn’t take up too much of the value of the box. (CosmoBody also released some workout videos featuring jump ropes to coincide with this box).

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Nail Wraps

Scratch Limited Edition Nail Wraps – Value $12

Here is the how-to-apply link to show you how these nail wraps go on. (You remove them with regular nail polish remover). Scratch Nail Wraps also offer a monthly subscription service, and the packaging says “FabFitFun VIPS get their first monthly mani kit for 50% off,” but there isn’t a coupon code, and the only link they give is the how to apply link. (If you have figured out how to get the 50% off – let us know!)

Headspace 3-Month Subscription – Value $38.85

Yay – this is a completely free subscription – no need to enter credit card info! I tried Headspace for a month a while ago thanks to the first Arianna Huffington Quarterly box, and I’ve been meaning to sign up for a monthly subscription, so this is perfect for me. (Headspace is a mediation tool/app/site that lets you easily take a few minutes in your day and practice mediation with guided prompts).

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Tarte

tarte LipSurgence Lip Gloss – Value $19

There are quite a few shade variants subscribers may receive in this gloss. I’m not sure what the name of this shade is, but the number is B131 b926. It provides a nice sheer wash of color, lots of shine, and it has that subtle sweet mint flavor I like in the tarte lip crayons.

Inkling Scents Sultry Roll-On Perfume – Value $25

I’m not a big perfume wearer, but I think I like this scent – it definitely fits the “sultry” name! (And it is alcohol free).

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Vaseline

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer – Value $8

This is the one sponsored item in the box – and I think as far as sponsored FabFitFun items go, it’s one of the best I’ve seen. The formula isn’t like a lotion at all – it felt like I was spraying on a liquid. (After you spray it on, you have to rub it in). The end result was pretty moisturizing though!

Gorge I’ll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray – Value $24.95

This is one of those “does it all” leave-in conditioner hair products – detangles, adds shine, repairs, creates silky hair, etc. I just tried it out on dry hair just to get a feel of the formula, and it seems lightweight. Also – I love the scent, it reminds me of some kind of tropical sunscreen.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Box Review + Coupon Sponge

Hello Konjac Cleansing Sponge – Value $12

I discovered konjac sponges for cleansing my face through subscription boxes, and now I’m always happy to get a new one in a box – I think this was a great addition to the box!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $284. I think that value is amazing for the $50 price (or $40 with coupon), and I’ll use almost everything in this box (not sure if I can rock the nail decals). What do you think of the Summer FabFitFun box? Which variations did you receive?

  1. Ordered my box on July 30th and still have not received it. When I followed up they apologized profusely and promised to ship sameday or next at latest (this was August 27th). I followed up on August 31st as I did not receive shipping confirmation and received a “We are terribly sorry for the trouble. It looks like the label for your box was generated today.” Of course it was, because I complained and followed up AGAIN. This is ridiculous. When I responded telling that what terrible customer service they have they responded with “would you like me to cancel your account?”. Wonderful customer retention. Now I still have to wait another 7-12 days for shipment. I’d like to note – for most, yes this is just a $40 box but for Canadians, it’s not. My payment confirmation shows as $39.99 plus $8 shipping but at the end of the day with a $1.30 CAD conversion, I’m paying over $62 for this thing with nothing but headaches. All they offered was a $10US credit to put towards my next box (useless) and an offer to throw in an extra “goodie” to my box – which again proves they haven’t even shipped it yet. Unreal.

  2. Anyone else having issues with the box gone missing? My box was originally shipped using USPS standard service, but it randomly changed into Priority Mail. Therefore, I wasn’t expecting it real soon since the USPS’s standard service is normally really slow. I recently tracked it again since it has been awfully a long time. The tracking shows that it was left on my porch on the 20th, but I don’t have the box. I don’t know what to do besides email the customer service and crossed my fingers.

Half of me hope that I’m not the only one having this kind of problem. The other half knows it’s selfish of me to think that way…. I really hope they can find my box instead of blowing me off.

  3. Anyone know the customer service number I can get a hold of FabFitFun? I so had it with them.

  4. hmmm… I am definitely in the minority here. I really liked this box and will use absolutely everything. I also received an email from FFF saying that they were having some customs issues shipping so that there would be a delay but that they would be throwing in a bonus in my fall box for the delay. But to be honest, I don’t really pay attention to when exactly the box is supposed to arrive or when my card is charged so I wasn’t bothered that it came a little later into the month. I think they do a lovely job of curating, however I don’t get too many other boxes so that may be why I wasn’t upset over having items similar to what I’d received in other boxes….
Still love FFF and already can’t wait for the Fall box!

  5. I was tempted to buy this box especially now with the 20$ off but with all the bad reviews I will pass . I’m expecting my PS box anyday , can’t wait !!!!!

  6. This box was pretty nice but i ended up giving away the nail wrap and Tarte lip gloss. I’ll definitely use everything else in the box.

  7. I received my box today. I was all set to be cranky because it had not been received and I had to call to find out what happened to it. They send me out a new box 2nd day air, and I received it today. OK Fab fit fun, all is forgiven. This may just be my favorite box yet! I love the perfume, love the sponge, love the lipgloss, and love the lotion! I don’t even care about the value of the necklace, because truthfully everything else more than makes up for it. And I’m so excited to try the meditation website! Total win

  8. I just got an email with the USPS tracking number. Did anyone else got their box shipped by USPS? I thought they are supposed to use Fedex Smartpost or something. I know they are both really bad in term of delivery time, but I was hoping that it may be quicker with Fedex Smartpost. Even though sometimes Fedex Smartpost takes even longer.

    • I feel like FedEx Smartpost is much slower than almost anything except DHL because it starts out via FedEx then is transferred over to the USPS who delivers the package.
