Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. I have been intrigued with their concept for a while because I think plus-sized clothing is sorely underrepresented in the subscription box market. I have been really happy to have an opportunity to try them out!
Gwynnie Bee kindly invited me to try their service for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

LONDON TIMES - Elbow Sleeve Ruched Dress
This dress was super fancy! It fit great and was flattering, too. The chiffon layer made it feel super feminine, too.
TART COLLECTIONS - Courtney Dress In Blurred Lines
This dress was also very flattering, and I enjoyed the cheerful spring palette!
KAREN KANE - Printed Houndstooth Dress
If you look at the model on the GB website, this dress looks so flattering and sexy. In reality, the color contrast is not as vivid, and it's pretty dumpy on. Also the material was a bit too thick for comfort in late spring. I was disappointed with this one.
CITY CHIC - Scarf Print Longline Jacket
This, on the other hand, I absolutely LOVED! I love the Asian print, and the side panels are very slimming. I seriously considered buying this piece!
This is another piece that looked kind of cool on the model, but when I got it in my hands it was a bit of a trainwreck. It has a very matronly cut, along with having a tie in the front. It's super flowy. Then the pattern is really cool and futuristic. Then the V is way, way too low. This shirt just doesn't know what it wants to be.
TRISTE - Helix Nebula V-Neck Tunic
This top was a pleasure to wear! It was soft, fit well, and hit exactly right at the hip, arm, and bust. The material was a little thick (it's getting hot here), but not too much. I also really love space prints!
TRISTE - Etched Pastel Shift Dress
This was my favorite piece all month! It was comfortable yet flattering, and there's something about the print I totally loved! I hated to send this one back - it's another one I seriously considered buying!
This top was really cool looking. I absolutely loved the print. The weird thing, though, is that I thought it was one of those mock twinsets where the cardigan and shell are sewn together, but it's not. It's just a regular top that drapes that easy! So it was extra roomy and comfortable. Not incredibly flattering, though.
The Verdict: I received eight pieces this month, and due to some travel I wasn't completely focused on the receive-wear-return-instantly method I had been doing last month. April is still my PR with Gwynnie Bee - 11 pieces in one month. It's hard to speak of value with a rental service, but $70 is certainly cheaper than buying eight pieces, even at a deep discount. I would probably take advantage of their purchase program more often, except I get bored with clothing pretty quickly, so renting for me is a perfect solution! I also wanted to see what it would take to actually receive a blouse or jacket instead of all dresses like I did last month! I removed all but two or three dresses from my closet this month, and I got all the dresses. BUT I finally got some tops! I really liked (or loved) most of the pieces this month. Gwynnie Bee is working out really well for me!
