GoodeBox Eco Beauty Subscription Box Review – May 2015

Did they send a discount code for Mullein and Sparrow? I know we can’t post the code. I can’t find one in my email and am wondering if I should email them for it. I liked it better when the codes were on the card.

I was disappointed that I didn’t get a sample of the PiperWai deodorant in my Goodebox, so I reached out to PiperWai. They offered me a coupon code, which I used to purchase a full-size version from their website. My order arrived in just two business days, and I love the herbal scent. This deodorant is very smooth in consistency so it’s easy to spread, and it also works very well. I haven’t noticed any irritation (and I use it daily, even after shaving). My husband even likes the scent, so I’ll see if I can get him to try a natural deodorant with this product. I’m so glad I tried PiperWai!

I received my box today, including the Derma-e day cream, Meraki lavender/chamomile face oil, Mahalo balm, cheek and lip tint, and CV rescue relief spray

This month had a lot of good products, and I only wish I had received the deodorant in place of the cheek and lip tint. Those who received it need to post how well it works, and if it causes any irritation.

The lavender face oil smells amazing, and soaks in nicely. I’ve been looking for a good SPF moisturizer, and am excited to try the Derma-e lotion. And I’ve never tried the CV spray, and can’t wait to try it. I received the Mahalo balm in another box but didn’t really find much use for it until Liz suggested using it as a cuticle cream. It works GREAT as a cuticle cream, and I’m sure I’ll use up both samples.

I got the Cheek and Lip Stain, isn’t that the one we got in Vegan Cuts a few months back? I also got the CV spray, Suntegrity, Meraki Botanicals Soothing Face Oil, and Lotus Moon Hydro Therapy Eye Serum. I am most excited about the eye serum, feels so nice. Very nice box this month.

I gifted a one month sub to my sister for her birthday. She lives out in the country where her only internet is on the farm. We were on the phone together so I could fill out her profile. It took a half hour! That says a lot about the questions they asked about the profile. She is excited and can’t wait.

After reading this review I couldn’t resist any longer and signed up for a year. I’m happy to learn more about Eco Beauty and this box will be a fun one to receive every month as I discover natural products.

I got Meraki Rose Grapefruit Face Oil (like it a lot!), Kahina Serum (very small packet), Mullein & Sparrow Cheek & Lip Tint (like it but wish it was more colorful), derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Day Crème with SPF 15 (this may just be my new “natural” daily face cream/sunblock!), Suntegrity 5-in1 in Medium (I already got this in my last Petit Vour box, tried it, it was way too orange, way not enough coverage, and made me an oily mess, so NOT for me). All in all, I liked this box, which was my 1st Goodebox.

I just received my box today and very happy with it. I received the Tinted Lip and Cheek, Black Soap from SoapBox, CV rescue Spray, Suntegrity and Lotus Moon Hydro-therapy Roll-On Eye Serum. May is turning out to be a great month!

I was posting from my phone last night. Here are the items I received:

1. Meraki Rosemary Mint Hair Wax 1oz – I might try a little to see how it works with my wavy/slight curly hair.
2. derma/e Evenly Radiant Brightening Day Crème SPF 15 .5 oz – I can use this! I’m going to try it and see how it works.
3. balancedguru Scrub Me nice and gritty body scrub 1 oz – This is my favorite scrub. I am excited to receive it. Goodebox can send me one every month 🙂
4. Meraki soothing lavender chamomile face oil 1oz – I can’t wait to try it. This is a nice size deluxe sample.
5. Mullein & Sparrow French Lavender Body Oil 1oz – Same as above!

I’m very happy with my box. I am gifting one to my sister for her birthday. She has been wanting to try the box and may order the bimonthly option.

I received my box on Friday and love it! I’ll post tomorrow what I received.

Have not gotten my goodebox yet, hope to get it Monday. Based on this review I’m super excited to get my box. Goodebox has gotten better in the past year. Petit Vour used to be my favorite box, yet this year Goodebox is my favorite box, because of the 4 page customizable survey that actually read. It’s nice not to get nail polish in a box when I request no nail polish. Goodebox is the only beauty box besides wantable makeup that seems to do that.

I got that tinted lip/cheek balm in my April Ipsy bag… mine has an overwhelming SEED smell. Ha ha. I can’t get over it. I passed it.

My Goodebox was great! I really liked the size of the samples I got too! My box had a $65 value which is quite impressive for the cost of the sub. I got the following items:
– Meraki Botanicals Rose Grapefruit Cleansing Face Oil 1 oz
– Lotus Moon Hydro-Therapy Roll-On Eye Serum 10 ml
– Piperwai Natural Deodorant 1 oz
– Mullein & Sparrow Cheek and Lip Tint
– Mahalo Body Balm 0.5 oz
I’m most excited about the Grapefruit cleansing oil because it can be used as both an oil cleanser or an oil moisturizer! The 1 oz bottle should last me a long time as a moisturizer. I’m not really a fan of natural deodorants but I will give this one a try because it does have smooth texture and goes on with a sheer/matte finish. I too wish it was a less messy stick application instead. The only item I will not use in this box is the Mahalo Body Balm simply because the scent is overwhelming to me! This is only my second month, but I’m really glad I signed up for this box!

I wish I would have got that deodorant in my box….I have been looking for a good natural one to use! Either way as always I am pleased with my Goodebox!
