Fabletics Review & $25 Off Coupon – May 2015 Package

Fabletics is a monthly workout clothing subscription – each month they release a new collection and you can pick out any outfit you like (including from previous months). Or you can skip that month.

This subscription is one of my all-time favorites. The value and the quality of the clothing are great!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Fabletics Outfit Choice

This month I decided to go with the River of Grass Outfit for $69.95.

Fabletics Review & $25 Off Coupon – May 2015 Bra

Juneau Bra - Value $24.95

This is a new bra design from fabletics and I like it. It comes with removable cups, and the cut is flattering and comfortable. The support on this bra is light - so not appropriate for high impact activites!

Fabletics Review & $25 Off Coupon – May 2015 Tank

Adventura Tank - Value $29.95

This is a great basic tank. It has a relaxed fit, so I sized down from a large to a medium, and it still is smidge loose, so I recommend sizing down in this tank (and pretty much anything Fabletics lists as having a relaxed fit).

Fabletics Review & $25 Off Coupon – May 2015 Capri

Lima Capri in Moss Camo - Value $64.95

My favorite item - I just love their black camo print, and I'm so glad they brought it back! I have this print in a legging from last year, but not a capri, so this print is why I went with this outfit. (But to be fair - a lot of the other outfits I was interested in were out of stock, so I didn't have many options this month!)

This capri has maximum compression, and a hidden pocket in the front as well.

Verdict: I'm really happy with my outfit choice this month. I tend to go for black workout clothing, but I still don't want a boring outfit - so I think this outfit is the perfect solution.

What did you pick from Fabletics this month? Were you able to get the outfit you wanted?

Also has anyone tried these capris?

Capris

I think they look really interesting, but the combination of maximum compression plus mesh netting made me avoid them. If they are flattering, let me know!

I just wanted to post my experience with Fabletics. In a word: Headache. At first, I was thrilled. Not anymore.

I don’t mind the clothes. They are sort of thick bathing-suit material-ish. Definitely not as nice as Lululemon (which is my go-to). It seems that all the items I want are out of stock in my size (and I can see they’re out of stock on a lot of sizes). So that sucks. I realized my “wish list” of items was long and I couldn’t actually order the things I wanted to. Finally, the prices aren’t all that amazing. The “outfits” they suggest are kind of set in stone. You can alter colour etc, to some extent, but if you’re not into them, it’s pretty lame. So no, I don’t want to be forced to buy an outfit I’m kind of Meh about just to get a good deal. Individually priced items are available of course, but it’s a better deal to get an “outfit” for 50% off rather than just one item 50% off, plus a regular priced item at regular “VIP” price (which, again, isn’t that amazing).

One positive is that shipping was quick and hassle free. But of course, that has nothing to do with Fabletics and everything to do with the courier company. (Purolator in my case).

Not a fan of having to go in and “skip” the month to avoid being charged $50 if I don’t order anything. Just adds something else to my list of things to do.

But the worst was today. I got an email at 4 am saying “today only: enjoy 70% off”. Within the fine print, it said the offer for 70% off was valid until 11:59PM. So basically – I have until midnight to buy something for 70% off.

I logged in, and could find nothing for 70% off, no coupon codes within the email, nothing. So I used the live chat. “Max” told me the 70% off had expired (no, it hadn’t. I still had about 14 hours left at this point). He told me I already got 50% off on another order (so? this has nothing to do with my first order. I want to place a NEW order for 70% off, obviously). He kept repeating himself about how he’s explained why I can’t have the discount. I kept explaining what the email said. He never acknowledged it. I was polite and calm – and he was too. But he was just dumb about it. He either didn’t get it, or is trying to get me to give up.

He told me to call a 1-800 number if I wanted to pursue this further. I will be. I will also be canceling my account. I do not deal with companies that scam their “VIP members”. Offer me 70% off, and follow through with it. Don’t tell me it’s expired a few hours later – that’s ridiculous and a flat out lie.

Do not join Fabletics. It is not worth it, and the quality of items isn’t amazing or anything. Stick with Lululemon. I can’t even imagine how tough it is going to be to cancel this *** account… :/

Really interesting that I didn’t see that outfit in my choices either! I’ve been having a lot of issues with my outfit selections not being anything I’m interested in–I’m interested in various tops and bottoms but not in the combinations that are listed for me! I almost cancelled my membership this month but the representative on the line convinced me to stay by trading in all the points I had earned for an outfit credit (since they totally devalued their rewards points). I’m hoping next month they’ll have an outfit with the Koia bra + twist tank which is one of my fave combos, but I’m not holding my breath.

I saw the $25 outfit promotion on FB yesterday and after reading your review I decided to go for it. The promo is a little misleading. I read it to mean $25 for any outfit, but it is actually 50% off any outfit. I also chose River of Grass (I LOVE those camo capris) and the total was around $35 with free shipping, which is still an amazing deal. A free magazine sub was also included at checkout. When I saw the order in my cart was more than $25 for the outfit I chatted with a rep. Here was her response:

“Please be informed that the $25 offer which is contingent on you agreeing to becoming a Fabletics VIP Member is only valid within the 24 -hour period after you have created an account. Basically, it is 50% discount on a pre-selected outfit priced $ 49.95 ( VIP Price).”

Just FYI, there is a great sale going on this weekend for memorial day! Something like 40-60% off of select styles.

I found it weird that most of the selections I wanted were showing as coming soon or sold out as well. I usually don’t have a problem getting the outfit I want and more times than not I am ordering in the afternoon, not right after the release. It seems like, this month, they weren’t on their game with having enough pieces available in all sizes. The outfit I really wanted was Oyster Bay and when I tried to select my pieces (all in Large) every one of them said coming soon and then they gave me a selection for pre-order? I did choose this selection and it stated when it became available I would be shipped the outfit. However, I don’t see anywhere on my profile where I can track this as a pre-order (it doesn’t show up under my account or anywhere else that I can see) and I don’t see the option on any of the outfits anymore. Not to mention the fact that if I try to go back and order the full outfit that now the pants, in my size (L) are showing sold out. It was a pretty frustrating month, overall.

Check under the “my orders” tab under in your profile. You should see it there. I was confused by this last month. Curiously I never had the option to even buy the outfit that was reviewed here. Do different people get different options? Weird.

As a blogger, do you have exclusive access to outfits that we don’t get? I love this camo outfit and it was not a pick that was available to me nor was it advertised anywhere. If I google it by name, it will take me to it on the Fabletics website and it say it’s still available but it won’t come up if you just go to the general website. I always thought I got to see all the outfits available but I’m guessing that is not the case. Confused!

That’s odd because I was able to buy it a few minutes ago. I didn’t see the outfit on the site until I made an account, but then it was listed under the “My Outfits” tab. I don’t know if style/sizing preferences could keep it from showing up for everyone? It did indicate there was low stock and many sizes were sold out. If you still want it and can’t find it on the site you might try chatting with a rep. I only had to wait a few minutes for a response and the person I spoke with was very helpful.

I don’t have exclusive access – I have a regular Fabletics account. The reason the outfit may not have appeared for you is because while it is a new outfit combo, it isn’t part of the Jump Right In May Collection. (I’m guessing it isn’t since the camo capri is a re-issue, not a new design).

Hope that helps clarify! 🙂

Hmm while they look really cool, I’d worry about the mesh leggings. Unless your very skinny, I feel like the maximum compression would squish all my “less toned” (fat) parts to the mesh parts and I’d end up looking sausagey…

I’ve been so impressed with the quality and style of Fabletics. I was a little wary at first, because the the “Just Fab” stuff seems kind of cheap. But I absolutely love everything I’ve received from them so far! The quality of their capris is better than some of the Athleta capris I purchased recently (the fabric started pilling after just a few washes). The compression is good and I think they have fun options. If you have a chance to order the jute yoga mat. . it’s incredible! Really thick and soft with just enough texture to help your feet and hands grip to the mat. I got the fleece yoga mat bag to go along with it and it’s the best yoga mat bag I’ve ever purchased.

I just ordered my first set and I’m so excited! I wasn’t sure about the sizing… at first I ordered a small in both the top and bottom but then I started reading reviews and got scared so I called customer service and they canceled/reordered so that the bottom will be a medium. I am a size 6-8 and sometimes wear a S and sometimes wear a M… I usually wear M bottoms in fitness wear at Target so hopefully the M will be big enough. The top I’m not sure about… I can wear a S at Target but I am busty so I might have to exchange that… I got the Ten Thousand Islands Norwalk Tank and Sydney Capri!

I ordered the mesh capris and I’m actually wearing them right now! I absolutely love them and they are very flattering. I was heasitant when I first put them on but the longer you wear them the more you fall in love with them.

I ordered the mesh leggings and I should get them on Saturday. I’m hoping they fit as good as they look on the model !
