FYI - Citrus Lane subscriptions are shutting down. If you are looking for an alternative baby subscription box, we recommend Bluum. Check out our Bluum reviews to learn more about this subscription.
Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code – May 2015 Box

Citrus Lane is a subscription box for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. (They customize your box to your child’s age and gender). The box I’m reviewing today is for a newborn. (Gender neutral). (Our very good friends just had their baby a week ago, so I’ve been trying to get them as many helpful newborn products as I can!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code – May 2015 Tee

This tee is for sizes 3-6 months, made with 100% cotton, and so cute! (Though pretty much any tee I see in this size is pretty cute!)

Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code – May 2015 Puppet

Skip Hop Mirror Puppet - Value $10

This puppet gets great reviews on Amazon and has a mirror that is revealed when you open the mouth of the puppet!

Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code – May 2015 Buddy

Me4Kidz Diaper Buddy - Value $6

Here is what is inside the Diaper Buddy: 4) Disposable Diaper Sacks (3) Antiseptic Wipes (2) Hand Sanitizers (10) latex free jr. bandages, (1) one time use thermometer, (1) Coupon for 50% off little buddy wipes (3) organic tush wipes, (1) reusable & recycled carry anywhere case.

Vaska Family Pack - Value $1

This set includes a dishwasher detergent tablet, a laundry detergent tablet, and a baby laundry detergent tablet.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $39.50. That's good for a Citrus Lane box, and I'm usually happy with the box as long as I get my money's worth - I think they do a great job at sending quality items, and that's the biggest value to me.

What do you think of Citrus Lane? What did you get this month?

I’ve been searching for many deals for the baby ever since my husband & I have found out that I we were expecting. Well, being all excited, I did lots of research & planning & started to prepare. And, of course, I signed up for many different offers, deals & discounts.I must say,I took my time doing my research, got lots of memberships’, subscribtions etc. offers. This is the one that I would definitely pass.Looks like a total waste of money.I like the T-shirt,but there’re tons of places where you can get it for 10 times cheaper (Marshals, Ross, TJMax,Wallmart clearance, thrift stores etc.).The puppet toy looks kind of scary to me,but regardless, same thing-it doesn’t look like it’s worth $10.And the baby essentials kit is ok,but still,3 wipes? It might be not enough to clean up one messy diaper… I could continue, but even for $6 you can put together a much better baby’s 1st essentials kit.

I completely agree with Lais. I am very disappointed by this box. I am happy they included the shirt (the only item I like in the box), but I could have gotten something similar at TJMaxx for half the price. Everything else is something I really don’t need and wouldn’t have purchased anyway. SO to me, the box doesn’t have the value of what i paid. On the other hand…I did purchase a Mystery box earlier in May and that had MORE products and they were all great…got toys, book, etc. – all very usable. Maybe this means I should stick to Mystery boxes!

I love the little Me4kids first aid kits. I can think of a dozen times that diaper bag buddy would have come in handy when my girls were babes!

I’ve only purchased a box for the oldest age range that they offer, but I’ve always been happy with what they include.

I got a pretty similar box as yours, for a 3 month old, and I was a lot disappointed with the detergent packs, sure the value is there due to the the t-shirt but still, it is a bit sad when paying for items for my child I receive dish washer soap.
