Beauty DNA Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Cream

Hydroxatone Celtrixa Intensive Stretch Mark Treatment - Value $79.95

Verdict: This stretch mark cream is a lightweight formula that absorbs quickly. (And I like that it is paraben free). Another plus for me - it really doesn't have much of a scent at all. I really appreciate getting a full-size version of a product like this. If I noticed results after using the full tube I'll buy more, and if I don't I'll save myself from ever spending $80 on a full-size version only to be disappointed.

I'm happy with the value of my selection this month, and I hope the formula works for me. What do you think of Beauty DNA?

I thought I had read somewhere that they won’t send you the same type of product month after month and no matter how many times I email them all i recieve is face wash

For May, I got a MDSolarSciences sunscreen worth $30 but I could have gotten from the Dermstore for $21 with a 30% coupon I had.

I emailed them and told them that I was unsubbing and that this was a poor value amongst other things. (Last month they sent me an item worth less than what I paid.) They sent me a cheap face wash for dry skin for a profile that stated that I was a 51 year old with dry skin! Both a poor value and not matched! And they sent me the month prior, a person allergic to molds, a serum that smelled moldy. They said this moldy smelling product was fine since their tester smelled moldy also.

Their response to my emai? People don’t subscribe to this for value, but to get matched products. I didn’t get either if you ask me,

Correction… They sent me a cheap face wash for OILY skin. Yup to a 51 year old woman with dry skin in my profile. This same wash was reviewed on Beauytypedia as being so drying they would not even suggest it for oily skin.

you aren’t dealing with them directly. Your sub is with Beauty DNA so what is the issue?

No problem with the sub. It’s more of a heads up if you end up wanting to buy the product straight from the company. Thank you for posting the link. For anyone that does like the product. I think ebay or amazon might be the way to order. Though I think I going to cave soon and get this sub. 🙂

The name “Hydroaxtone” made me think about cheesy infomercials, so I did a quick search: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/health/hydroxatone.html

WOW! Another confirmation to me to always use a one time CC when dealing with ‘unknown’ offers and subscription boxes. Good luck to those people!

It’s not a subscription from the brand at all but from Beauty DNA. They’re sponsored/owned by New Beauty magazine. Definitely not Hydroxatone. And this sub is far from new or unknown. They’ve been around going on 2 years. So you can very safely and confidently subscribe. From my personal experience it’s always been worth double the $25 I pay and I’ve found quite a few HG products too.
