Spring L’Occitane L’OcciBox Review + Coupon Box

Every season or so, L’Occitane offers a new limited edition, one-time-purchase. This time they offered gummy bears in the box (in addition to the main beauty products) and I couldn't resist!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Spring L’Occitane L’OcciBox Review + Coupon Items

The Box: L’Occitane L’OcciBox

The Cost: $20 (when you use coupon code SUGAR) (plus $4.95 shipping)

The Products:

o 1 Jasmin & Bergamote Eau de Toilette, 0.04 fl.oz
o 1 Immortelle Precious Serum, 0.23 fl.oz
o 1 Immortelle Brightening Essence Sample, 0.03 fl.oz
o 1 Shea Butter Hand Cream, 10ml 0.3 .oz
o 1 Shea Whipped Hand Cream, 30ml 1 .oz
o 1 Bonne Mere Rose Soap, 3.5 .oz
o 1 cube of Sugarfina Champagne Bears®*

Spring L’Occitane L’OcciBox Review + Coupon Lotion

Shea Butter Hand Cream, 10ml - Value $4

Shea Whipped Hand Cream, 30ml - Value $12

I've always liked their Shea Butter Hand Cream, so I knew I'd use both of these items. I think the original hand cream is better for me than the whipped cream (it takes a little longer to rub in), but they both are great.

Spring L’Occitane L’OcciBox Review + Coupon Soap

Bonne Mere Rose Soap - Value $7

Sugarfina Champagne Bears - Value $8

This soap smells good to me, and sometimes rose scents don't agree with me, so that's a win!

I know the candy item shouldn't be my favorite item in a beauty box, but these gummy bears really do taste like champagne! They're still sweet, but somehow sophisticated too! (And I appreciate that they are made with all natural ingredients).

Spring L’Occitane L’OcciBox Review + Coupon Samples

Immortelle Brightening Essence Sample, 0.03 fl.oz - Value $2

Immortelle Precious Serum, 0.23 fl.oz - Value $16

Jasmin & Bergamote Eau de Toilette, 0.04 fl.oz Value $1.25

My mom loves their Immortelle line, so these two serum samples are going to her! (And I think I like the Jasmin perfume).

Verdict: This box has a value of about $50.25. I think it's a great deal for $20 (UPDATE - with shipping my box total came to $26.70), and the box itself is fantastic! I will definitely be reusing it for gift packaging!

What do you think of the Spring  L’Occitane L’OcciBox?

Although I really liked this box, it would not have been worth the original cost of 48.50 + shipping charges! L’Occitane products have been a favorite of mine for many years. I’ve used the original hand lotion and bar soaps for quite some time, now. The pink box is delightful! I love the contents and the gummy bears are such a treat. Based on the prices of their full size products, this box at $20.00 is a good buy. It’s too bad that the cost of shipping isn’t included.

I always want to hide my head when I type about my rosacea even though you can’t see me 🙁 I’ve been under a lot of personal stress and then had food poisoning/stomach bug this weekend. My Pelle Beauty Oil has been fighting the good fight against the rosacea. The Immortelle Serum took it even further making my skin look even better and reducing the puffiness more despite the adverse circumstances. No rosacea problems, no angry bumps, just an improvement 🙂

Where is the best place to buy a full size product? Does it ever go on sale? Any benefit from buying it in person? I have a few options at the mall where I can purchase it.

For those that want to know – I’ve been using the Luxe Pelle Beauty oil both day and night. I added in the Immortelle Precious Serum into my nighttime routine. I’m impressed with both products.

Not as good as the Christmas/Winter box but still alright – I bet they realized they priced it too low last time. This box is definitely not worth the full price! I’ll be adding some items to it for my mom for Mother’s Day, since the lotions and serum are so small.

Got it! Love Loccitane! Excited for the gummy bears too.

Some tips-
Note this box is very small (6 inches), these items are tiny – the biggest lotion is like a crabtree small one.

SHIPPING: I called to find out why it said to add items to get free shipping but never took off the cost – I was told to read the Loccibox item description – it says this item does NOT qualify for free shipping. So no matter what you do, you won’t get free shipping. I asked and was shut down.

FREE GIFT WRAP: check yes – it gives you another great sturdy box and bow. Really nice for storing makeup or things.

CODE LOCCIBOX: I read that this code ‘sold out’ but if it works for you it will change the box price to $20 plus 4.95 shipping and also add a perfume mini of the Jasmine scent to your cart for free (value 11.50), so it is better than the SUGAR code, if it works.

FREE SAMPLES: you get to choose two free sample packets on the 2nd page.

$3 LOTION SET: if you add the lotion tin for $3, it will change the loccibox price back to $48 and remove the free perfume mini – it is not something that can be combined with the box.

Enjoy-

Omg! This was super helpful, thanks so much!

So I called them and free shipping on all orders but the L’OcciBox Spring Collection. That’s okay though. $20 for this box is still great. =)

I think the issue of it originally showing an add $5 for shipping message is because when you add this box it’s $48.50 putting you only $1.50 away from free shipping and a $5 soap is the cheapest option to add and qualify for the free shipping with $50. However when you add the code to make the box drop down to $20 the free shipping will then drop off because you’re no longer over $50. I couldn’t figure out any code for free shipping that would knock off the code making the box $20. I did use the deluxe perfume code mentioned by others and it gave the option of receiving a pretty nice & sturdy gift box for free. With the 2 extra foil pouches that made a decent amount of stuff for $25 & change. I had my perfume leak all pver though messing up my pretty pink box and the vial is almost empty :(. I emailed them so hopefully they’ll get back it me soon.

I got a promotional email earlier in the week for free shipping on any order over $25. It says “any order” and “no code necessary,” but I’m guessing that this box is excluded. They’re fairly strict on not combining offers.

The box is so pretty, but the value wasn’t there for me this time. I bought the last special edition one which was great.

I bought the box for the soap. The Marseille soap is what I use and love the cream. The gummies were a total win for me as well. I can’t resist L’Occitane products.

I went to buy the box, and it said if I added $5, shipping would be free…so I added a $6 balm…and it still stated a shipping cost of $4.95…sent an email to customer service and will see what they say….

Same here!! Hopefully they refund it!

I did the same–waiting!

I love this box! The container is sturdy and pretty. I’m excited about the items inside it and been using the precious serum. I haven’t opened the hand creams yet to check out the scents. I’m giving the gummy bears to my sister. I love the perfume scent and am happy to receive the vial and deluxe sample. They also included a couple extra foils which I thought was nice.

I got this box, cost about $25 with shipping. I would never pay full price for it though… The value for -me- isn’t there.

I liked the last box much better. I loved the hand cream and bag set, and I feel that ultimately there was more to the box, and I kept everything in it.

My favorite item was those gummies. I’m going to order more, which I guess is the point of these boxes.

How did the free shipping work? I used the codes “Sugar” and “Loccibox”, but it still charged me $4.95 for shipping… I even tried it without the “Loccibox” code and tried a shipping code…

Mary

Me too. It’s asking me to add $5.00 of product to get the free shipping, so I’ll probably do that since this box is so adorable (cute packaging gets me every time) AND the free deluxe perfume sample too.

Reply ButtonReply

Heathers

Ah it didn’t ask me! I would have added something to save money and get an extra item! I didn’t know how much you had to spend for free shipping… It’s usually a lot higher!

PA Anna

I think the free shipping is incorrect. If I recall correctly, Liz had to paid shipping and posted the cost when this offer was originally offered. I remember thinking do I want to spend that on shipping since we both live in the same state. My total came to $26.70, Shipping – $4.95.

Ah – so sorry! You are correct. I just looked up my order confirmation email to verify. Fixing the review now!

Code LOCCIBOX for free a free mini EDT on top of the $20 price is working again 🙂

Barbie

I basically bought it also for the gummy bears and pretty box. It did help that I received a free deluxe perfume, 2 extra samples, and free gift box in addition to the discount.

JacLyn

Ha! The gummy bears and the box are what pulled me in, too! Everything else was just nice extras. XD

Blessedmommi

Hi Barbie!
How did you get a free gift box?

Reply ButtonReply

PA Anna

BlessedMommi – It’s offered as an option when you check out.

Loanne

The packaging of this box is just too adorable. I was really excited for the hand creams, unfortunately the fragrance of the hand cream is not for me. It’s has a powder smell which I don’t like. I’ve never tried their Immortal line so I’m excited about that. Overall I would rate this box 6 out of 10.

Blessedmommi

$16 for a perfume sample vile wow that must be some expensive perfume.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

The $16 is the serum, the perfume is $1.25 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Blessedmommi

Oh okay, that makes more sense. Lol I read that wrong 🙂

Ali

Those gummy bears are fantastic!
I bought a box from Bespoke for myself – I mean my husband – for Christmas and he really loved them. I think the large size lasted three days? Maybe.

Jennifer

This was worth it for the gummy bears alone. I now want to buy everything from Sugarfina.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Same! I’ve been browsing their site for the past few minutes… 🙂

Aussieten

Me too. And then I saw the shipping prices! They want to charge $13 for my $31 order! I can’t stomach that, so I guess I wont me ordering :/

Stacey

I’m a sucker for pretty packaging!
