Jackie Cresent Moon Draping Pendant Necklace

This necklace is a good mix of delicate gold jewelry and a statement piece - perfect for me. I like the boho vibe too:

I like the locking-in-place mechanism of this bracelet, and I'm a fan of the simple design too. I can't wear bangles for everyday wear (they drive me insane when I'm typing), but I'll save this one for non-working events!

Verdict: I'm happy with both of my jewelry pieces this month! I'm also curious to see how this subscription evolves now that they are offering customization. What do you think of Cate & Chloe VIP?

A month or two ago it was mentioned that you can find many of their items on aliepxress or something like that. Many of their pieces are less than $5 on that site, or pieces that look identical. Not sure what month that discussion happened.

I think it was my comment. I got the Mary “Motherly” necklace in my one C&C box. It retails on their site for $115. I found the same, identical necklace for under $3 at AliExpress. The chain was different – I liked the Ali Express one more – but the pendants were identical. It’s a beautiful piece and I wear it all the time now, but it’s much better at $3.

I wasn’t able to find either of these two pieces in AliExpress. But, truth be told, there are so many jewelry pieces in AliExpress that unless you can guess what words the Chinese sellers would have used to describe the piece you are looking for, it’s incredibly difficult to find. Of course, in your quest you may find something you actually like better 🙂

I got the first part of my first AliExpress order in yesterday. One item was missing but the seller left a note and explained it was out of stock and gave me my choice of PayPal credit or taking the amount of my next order (plus gave me a free bracelet to make up for it). I e-mailed the seller to let him/her know my choice for the credit and heard back in only a few hours (with a good answer to a specific question I asked, too).

I’m still waiting on the other two packages. However, in a store, I would’ve paid well over the total of my order for just the portion I received yesterday — and it would’ve been the same merchandise!

That’s not to say I would buy everything there. I need to try clothes and running shoes on before committing, and I’d prefer to go to a known vendor with US-based customer service for electronics. But I now have a great way to get a cheap jewelry fix.

WOW! Okay then… Think I’ll see if I can hunt down that discussion so I can find the site and check it out.

I love that bracelet! I’ve been vaguely thinking of getting a jewelry/accessories sub. I was looking at Wantable, but it seems like their pieces are kind of poorly made and/or cheap. How’s the quality of the pieces from this sub?

I’ve found C&C pieces to be better quality than Wantable Accessories jewelry items overall. I actually preferred how C&C used to send more delicate pieces versus the move more recently to statement jewelry so I can’t really compare apples to apples since I never received any of their larger, more costume/statement items they tend to send now.
