POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Magic

This exfoliating treatment is meant to be used once or twice a week, so this tube should last a while. It also gets a ton of 5-star reviews on Sephora!

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Bottle

Greenmarket Purveying Co. The Archivist Lemon + Cucumber Reed Diffuser Kit – Value $20

Greenmarket Purveying Co. is new to me – and I’m excited to see they are located in Pennsylvania and make products with natural and organic ingredients!

This Lemon + Cucumber scent is very refreshing, and a little different than scents I’m used to from home diffusers – I like it!

(This diffuser also came with a 25% off coupon code for your next order at Green Market Purveying – it expires April 30th 2015).

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Pouch

Samudra Pink Pina Zip Pouch (POPSUGAR Exclusive) – Retail Value $40

This pouch is a POPSUGAR exclusive, so it isn’t available for sale on their website currently. It is super neon pink, and big enough to hold pretty much everything you’d want to put in it! This will be great inside a beach bag. Here is the Bliss Micromagic in the bag to give a better sense of scale:

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Clear Pouch

This is one of those items that I wouldn’t pay the suggested retail price for, but I like it and will use it.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Pack

Knock Knock What to Pack Pad – $7

Traveling was a theme for this box, and this What to Pack pad is a cute reminder tool. I wish I traveled enough to use all 60 sheets anytime soon, but as someone who always manages to forget something (like a phone charger), this will come in handy.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Wet Brush

Wet Brush The Squirt – Value $5

I still use my original Wet Brush that I received in the October 2013 POPSUGAR box, and I’m thrilled to have a mini one for travel! This goes straight to my suitcase so I never have to remember to pack it!

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Halfpops

Halfpops in Butter & Pure Ocean Sea Salt – Value $1.69

My husband loves these! POPSUGAR really knows how to pick out snacks for their boxes – I can’t remember a box that didn’t have a delicious food item.

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Benefit

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash and Porefessional Minis (Special Extra)

POPSUGAR Must Have Box March 2015 Review + Coupon Roller Lash

Benefit Roller Lash – .1 oz Value $8

Benefit Porefessional – .1 oz Value $4

I have been dying to get my hands on the Roller Lash mascara so I was thrilled to see it in the box! The porefessional is a great product too, so I’m happy about these two travel-sized minis.

Verdict: The retail value of this box is about $134. That’s really good for POPSUGAR, and I’ll use just about everything, so I’m happy with the value. I can definitely pick up on the travel theme in this box. Comparing it to the February box, this one feels a little more practical, which I imagine is preferred for some, and not for others.

What do you think of the March POPSUGAR Must Have box? FYI – this box is currently sold out, but if you sign up for a subscription and don’t uncheck the waitlist box you could still get it!

  1. I’ve also had pretty good luck reselling items like that on eBay. Since we didn’t pay full price for them to begin with, I list if or a little under the retail value and consider it a profit either way.

    • Oops, I meant list IT not list if.

  2. So excited for this box! Love the travel pad, pineapple bag ($40 is way overpriced though), diffuser, and benefit roller lash. I’m indifferent towards the bliss product. I’ll give it a try. It’s not like I’ll be eating it anyways. I try to avoid parabens when I am purchasing a product for myself, but I’m not too strict. Pop sugar is my all time favorite sub, I’ve been getting it since November. I didn’t like the January box, but I’ve liked all the others, and I think this one is my favorite to date. It would be better if the product included was parabens free but I’m not gonna make a huge deal about or refuse to try it. Pop sugar has never stated that they are a paraben free subscription service.

  3. Sadly, this one is kind of a dud for me. I think the pineapple bag is cute and will go great in my beach bag like you suggested, but that is the only thing I really see myself using. Well, and the popcorn 😉 I always love the food items they send! I will probably try the Bliss Micromagic but I already have so many skincare items like this that I just simply don’t need another. And, I wish the wet brush was full size. Oh well, you win some you lose some. I hate complaining and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed in many months so it was bound to happen 🙂

    • Hi
Are u interested in selling any of your items from the 3/15 pop sugar box? I’m excited to buy many of the items! Look forward to your response

      • Are you on the swap site? I am sure someone on there would probably be interested in selling the various items. If you contact someone who only as a few items from the box listed – ask them about the other items in the box too. If they are anything like me they probably just didn’t list everything. Good luck. 🙂

        • Hi
          Thx for your response
          Where is the swap site?
          I’m interested in the diffuser
The red case and y necklace

  4. I’m so excited to get my box in! That pineapple pouch will match perfect with a bag I bought from Victoria’s Secret last year. The Wet Brush is amazing and basically the only brush I will use since I bought one from my salon a couple of years ago. I already have a mini one I keep in my desk at work so this one will be going in my car. I don’t really know anything about diffuser because I’ve never really wanted to spend the money to buy one but I’m excited to try this one. The Half Pops sound delicious. I already have a different version of the what to pack list but I can always use another one. They are very helpful to me because I usually write down everything I take with me to begin with. The only things I’m not sure about are the Bliss treatment (I’ve never really exfoliated before) and the Benefit mini items (I will probably try the pore professionals but if the mascara is black (which is more than likely) I won’t use it because I hardly wear mascara and when I do, it’s brown. Overall this looks like an excellent box for me!

    • would you be willing to trade the roller lash for a brown mascara I may have? I think I have a Korres or some other sample.

  5. Well this box looks good for me except the bag. That brand has some pretty cute stuff on their site, but this one looks kinda tacky. I was excited about the Bliss till I saw everyone else complaining about it. I hope I like the scent of the diffuser, I’ve never tried one but I’ve always wanted to. And no one seems to of sent me the roller lash in any other boxes so I’m glad I finally get to try it.

  6. I’m looking forward to this box. That plastic pouch will come in very handy for traveling. I can put shampoos and shaving creams in there and then slip it into my suitcase. I’m also looking forward to trying the Bliss. It will be nice to have another mini Roller Lash (loving my first sample of this.) And the travel pad checklist is really cute too. I have no complaints, really. I think this is a solid, practical box.

  7. This box is not what I was expecting. I like the diffuser. The travel bag for with a retail value of $44 I find funny. The brush my cats will enjoy. The bliss I wont open because of the ingredients, the rest of the box I find boring.

  8. I’m excited for the Rollerlash. I would love to try a diffuser since I’ve never had one, but I hate anything cucumber scented. I’ll try the popcorn and the Bliss if the crystals aren’t sharp enough to tear my skin. More than likely swapping the packing pad, plastic pouch and wet brush.

  9. Excited about the benefit, but sadly, not much else! The design for that bag just looks cheap, even if the size is nice. 🙁

  10. I still find it odd that they would send a wet brush even through they sent out one last year, even if it is travel sized.

    • I’m glad because I just started subscribing, and the wet brush is one item I saw in previous boxes that I was very interested in!

      • I agree Diana!

  11. I have mixed feelings. I do like that it is a practical box, as Liz said. And I’m definitely excited about the diffuser. But, the only 2 items other than the diffuser that are not cheap throw-ins…. are the paraben-full bliss product and a ridiculously over-valued plastic pouch. I’ll use the pouch, beachbag is a great idea, but it’s hardly worth $40. So really, the only item “of value” aside from the diffuser is the bliss, which I don’t think I want to try.

Liz are you going to try the bliss? I know you’re really careful about parabens…..

  12. Aww bummer wish I had gotten this box :(. Love home stuff, beach bags and I have ridiculously long hair and would love to try the brush. Boo hoo, I canceled after Jan and now Feb and march have been awesome. Maybe time to resub.

  13. The only thing that I’m not pleased with that brush. It seems like a doggy brush or something I could get from the Dollar Tree

    • It’s really a fabulous brush. Definitely doesn’t look like any dog brush I’ve ever seen/bought. It works like a dream and lasts forever. They carry these at Sephora so I’m thinking the brand isn’t likely to be in Dollar stores just yet.

    • I have to say that I was skeptical of these brushes until I got one in a swap. My son has curly hair and no amount of conditioner or detangling spray could get a brush through his hair without tears. This brush goes right through his hair, wet or dry, no problem. We don’t even use the detangler anymore. He’ll even brush his own hair now, lol! It doesn’t look like anything special, but we are in love with this brush and I am soooo happy to be getting another! Maybe you will be pleasantly surprised, as well!

  14. This is my first box. I can use everything in here…. but nothing that I am really excited about. Maybe I will grow to love everything. What is the swap site everyone is mentioning?

  15. I like this box, but definitely think it is something I will find more practical once in hand. I was just looking at the new Tory Burch pineapple cosmetic bag and decided against purchasing, so funnily enough Popsugar answered. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this review posted tonight 🙂

  16. I seem to be in the minority, but this might be my most favorite box yet. If it had a scarf or some bling, I would be in popsugar heaven.

  17. Looks like I canceled just in time. The only thing I could’ve gotten excited about is the mascara and I’m getting one in my Allure Sample Society box….which is only $15 a month!!!

  18. Love it! I can’t wait to get it. Probably will have to swap the diffuser, though…looks like something the cat would love to nibble! 😛

  19. This box doesn’t look great to me, I’m glad I didn’t get it. I would’ve loved the Benefit and diffuser and that’s it. I think PS is so hit or miss for me, I can’t subscribe to it. I’m so interested in it and I think I should love them, but $50 is a huge gamble. I loved last month’s box and was fortunate enough to swap for the cutting board and Tarte blush.

    • Popsugar costs $39.95

      • And they don’t charge shipping (unlike Quarterly now). Plus they usually offer a code for another $5-$10 off, or a reduced price for 3 month and longer subs. Nowhere near as risky as a Quarterly box for sure.

  20. I feel like I’m in the minority but I don’t like this box. I’ll probably keep the brush and put the rest on the trade board. :/

  21. Wow, I like this box!! Thank you for the early review! Can’t wait to receive it.

  22. Thank you so much!

I was hoping to see jewelry or a scarf as this is the very first box I have subscribed and I guess I am a bit let down. Here’s hoping for a better one in April.

I do like the pouch, but $40.00? I would never pay that much money for that.

  23. 2015 is shaping up to be a great year for PS boxes. I’m most excited for the diffuser, the Bliss and the Benefit samples. The pouch is cute but a $40 retail seems nuts. I can forgive that though, since I’m not paying retail for it. Bring on April!

  24. Looks like a PSMH box where I might have kept almost everything….too bad I canceled after December’s box. I was just finding too often that I only wanted or used 1/3 or max 1/2 of the items, and even with swapping I couldn’t justify it. I will be scouring the swap site for almost everything in this box. It’s a project to pass the time!

  25. The Roller Lash mascara is unbelievably good. I have very short and sparse lashes and it makes them look so long.

  26. So many items! Love this subscription!

  27. I’m excited about this months box. I think I’ll like every thing in it. Better than February for me, I didn’t like any of it. Still need to swap it.

  28. Even though the box doesn’t have that wow factor that I’m always looking for, everything seems pretty practical to me. And I’ve never used a diffuser before so I’m pretty excited to try it (hope I like the scent). So the only thing I will be swapping is the what to pack pad and maybe the bliss treatment (I already have a bunch of skin care from other subs).

  29. This is probably my least favorite box. The only thing that I’ll keep is the diffuser and popcorn. What a bummer 🙁

  30. I’m disappointed in the repeats. The pineapple clutch from the summer LE was also from Samudra (but in cotton) and I didn’t like the wet brush the first time around (my hair is too thick to use it). I really hope that they don’t start repeating previous brands. Some of us are so loyal that we subscribed to every box since the beginning.

    • *actually the clutch from last summers’s LE had a palm leaf print, not pineapples, but still the same brand.

    • Same. I don’t have any trips planned for this spring or summer and I already have the brush and the clear bag from previous PSMH boxes. So I’m let down about this box. BUT then I reminded myself that I actually only paid about $25 for this box (because I purchased a 6 month sub during black Friday) and it’s a bit easier to deal with. I’ll be listing this box on e-bay when I receive it.

  31. Wow except for the bliss product this is a fantastic box. Love!

  32. Love it!!! Just in time for a whole lot of travel coming up! They hit it out of the park for me. Miami, I’m coming…

  33. Ohh, I am really excited for this one! That pouch is adorable and that Knock Knock pad is perfect for me!

    • The two things that I’m going to be listing on the swap site! Haha.

  34. I don’t love this box as much as I loved Dec, Jan, and Feb, but it still has a pretty good mix of items. I’m excited to see what the diffuser smells like!

  35. I didn’t bite when I saw the Bliss spoiler, and now I wish I had. I’ll be scouring the swap site looking for that diffuser. I love anything lemon-scented.

  36. Was I supposed to resign up for popsugar when the new website came up? Cause I haven’t been charged yet and I thought we were getting charged on the25tb. I’m not to impressed by this box so I won’t be upset if I don’t get it’s

  37. This looks fabulous! I am going to Mexico and will use all of this!

  38. I wasn’t too thrilled over the spoiler, but I think this is a nice box. I’m on the wait list, but I wouldn’t mind getting this box. I need a detangler brush, and the Benefit bonus items are great. I agree with Liz, more practical, but while that cheese board from February was adorable, how often would you actually use it? These are all things that can and will be used often.

  39. I’m really looking forward to this box! Diffuser is a nice change for a box.

  40. Really happy. I have never heard of this brush but will start using on my daughter to help her tender head when I brush her hair after baths. I will use everything. It’s nice to have a box of special lovelies (December and February) followed by a practical boxes (January and march). Very happy with popsugar. Can’t wait to have this box and the resort LE box in my hands!!

    • The brush is a lifesaver for little girls’ hair! I’ve used it for years on both of my girls’ thick, long hair and it works like a dream. It put an end to the fight that was after bath hair brushing.

      • Thank goodness EC as I try my best and she still tells me it hurts 🙁 and I think I’m bring so gentle. If this changes that, I would have spent $39 on the brush alone!!

  41. Wow! Impressed with the value and curation of this box. While I don’t get how that pouch could be worth $40, it will definitely come in handy for traveling. The Benefit box of goodies is a fun surprise and I’m so very excited about the mini wet brush. The full size wet brush we got a long time ago is amazing and I use it every day. It will be great to have one for travel. Good job, Popsugar!!

  42. It’s a decent box, but I’m actually not sad about missing out. December was my last PSMH box, and since then there hasn’t been anything in a box that I couldn’t live without.

  43. I like the diffuser and bliss exfoliant. I really don’t need another makeup bag so that will go up for swaps. I got a sample of roller lash already and absolutely love it, so I am happy about that. I can see the theme, but not too hot to trot about this months box.

  44. How about that for a great box?!
My clear make up bag just developed a split and I need a replacement. Here comes Popsugar swooping to the rescue with a decidedly cute and spacious number. I like a translucent bag to easily find my things without digging.
Mini wet brush – brilliant! Love my full sized one. Packing slips? Yeah I keep a running list online and tweak it to suit the climate I’m going to.
I’m eager to try the Benefit Roller mascara and check out the diffuser kit.
Am I the only person on the planet who doesn’t like popcorn? I’ll be popular with all those who love it – win/win!

    • I thought I was the only one who hated popcorn too!

  45. Looks great can’t wait to get mine

  46. This may be my first PSMH box that I like ALL of the contents… It only took a year! 🙂

  47. Hmm I’m not too sure how to feel about this box just yet. It doesn’t seem too exciting, but I’m thinking once I get it in my hands I will come to love most of these items. This usually happens to me with Pop Sugar. So we’ll see!

    • Can’t wait!!!! Love it. We are have twin baby grand daughters so PS and FFF keep me young. LOL. I’m 45. Between me, my 20 yr old daughter and 22 yr old daughter we always use most every thing.

  48. Sooooooo glad I don’t like this box! I was scared when it sold out! hehe 🙂

    • This made me laugh

  49. I’m really excited for this box. Yes, it’s practical but that’s what I need. I’ve never tried the brush but have been wanting to. I know every sub box is handing out the benefit mascara but I now only sub to this box so it’s a win. Maybe the list for packing will force me to take more vacations!

  50. What a great box can’t wait to get mine!
