Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Box

Wantable Accessories is one of the three Wantable subscription options. Each month they typically send you three items in categories like jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, etc. You can heavily customize this box by picking out which categories of items you want, and what styles and materials you prefer. (Lately I’ve been requesting only scarves and hair accessories – but I recently opened up to watches and necklaces too.)

Wantable kindly sent me this box to review. (Check out the review process postto learn more about how we review boxes).

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Info

Here is the invoice of my order with retail prices.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Preferences

And here are the categories I picked out. You must pick at least two categories for your likes or loves. You will never get any items on your dislike list.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Scarf

Andie Scarf - Value $28

Circle scarves are my favorite kind of scarves, so I was excited to see this one in the box. It's an open weave, and only wraps around once, so it doesn't add a ton of warmth. That's fine by me - I think it is a good winter/spring transition piece.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Necklace

Phoebe Necklace - Value $19

This piece might be my favorite in the box. I love the matte texture of the triangles, and the mix of summer blue colors. Here is a closer look:

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Pendant

Elizabeth Necklace - Value $18

The iridescent stones on this necklace really catch the light!

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Detail

I'm not sure if it is too bold of a look for me, but I do like that the rest of the stones are muted colors.

Wantable Accessories Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Watch

Cori Watch - Value $26

I like the look of a watch stacked with a few bracelets, and this one will pair well with a few of my gold Bauble Bar stretchy bracelets.

Verdict: I am a fan of this box. I definitely think each piece is worth $9 (breaking down the $36 month cost per item), and I know I'll wear the scarf and blue triangle necklace a lot.

Do you subscribe to Wantable Accessories? What do you think of it?

I signed up for the first time and was really disappointed. I put that I loved scarves and watches and liked earrings. And no scarves, but three earrings and one watch. The watch was the only thing I liked; but it was huge around my wrist. I tried taking out a link, but it’s still too big to wear (and I don’t have a particularly small wrist). I’m taking it to a jeweler today to see if he can fix it for me. The earrings all just looked really cheap to me. I put in that I loved hoops and classic, and liked boho… and the earrings were like crazy dress up things. The weight alone was enough that I would never wear them. I don’t know how closely they really look at the style survey we take. I cancelled immediately.

Ok, you sold me! Between the coupon and the review, I can no longer resist this box.

Great box! Love the scarf! I’m still working out what are the best descriptors in my profile, I got a piece this month that was a little too “rock and roll” for me.

FYI, wantable is now $40 for the first month regardless if you sign up for the subscription and then $36 a month for subsequent months. They give you a $4 credit. IDK when this started but I received a Jan. box and it was $36. I tried to use a code for Feb on a new account and it’s been raised to $40 period for your first box. :/

Ooooh, good idea, Mara! Liz, I was thinking that the Elizabeth necklace might look good with the pocket dress you got in your Golden Tote this month. I love all the items you received! Great collection!

I just got my very first Wantable Accessories box last week and I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to subscribe! Mine was beautiful, however, I LOST one of the earrings on the very first day I wore them…uugghh!! I wonder if we can purchase them? If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate it because I really loved those earrings!

You’re box is amazing, Liz! I wouldn’t have found this gem of a sub if it wasn’t for your reviews, so Mahalo!

I got that scarf around Christmas and I LOVE it. I have been wearing it daily through the winter and it doubles up enough that it actually keeps me warm. I love it.

That blue necklace will go great with the nail polish from Allure Sample Society this month. Cute box!

GREAT BOX! Think I’m going to have to change my survey again to get watches again. This is a classic look.
