Got my Mystery Box earlier this week. It was all chocolate bars! I think I am set on chocolate for the year now, ha!

Did anyone order this? I did and am wondering if it has shipped for anyone else. It said early march so I was hoping it would be the first week, but no chocolate so far… 🙁

I got the specialty box Jacklyn described above – it was the best of 2014 box. I looked up all the items and their values on the manufacturers’ sites, and the value for the $50 box was about $65. So it was worth what I spent, but not worth the $80 they had said the box was supposed to be worth. Because of that, I was disappointed. I was expecting $80 worth. As long as you assume more like $50 worth of value for the standard box, you are less likely to be disappointed. Other than that issue of the value, for me the box was really nice, and as someone above said, it was items that are great both for snacking and for giving away.

$90 is more than I spend on really good chocolate in a year (and I usually only buy good artisinal chocos as a treat to myself)! Any ideas on how many chocolates / bars this is?

sounds awesome, then I thought, what if part of the ‘value’ is some kind of discount code or coupon? Any previous experience with this company?

Hi Nichole – I am a monthly treatise subscriber (and this was my first sub ever!) and have ordered a couple of these mystery/gift boxes before as well. I’ve never received any discount codes, coupons, or other gimmicky items in the boxes which is why its my favorite box to gift. All of the value is from the treats themselves. Although, everything is a specialty/artisanal item so it is sometimes startling (but always delicious) to see an $8 chocolate bar. My experience has been nothing but positive with this company. Everything arrives on time in perfect condition and customer service is really responsive and helpful. Also for every dollar spent you get 1 point, and every 100 points is $10 in the Treatsie shop but you can redeem it at any point value. For example, 87 points will count towards $8.70 of your purchase. Hope this helps!

Thank you for giving some information about this box. Could you give an idea about that quantity that might be in each or either of these boxes according to your experience. Thanks!
