These get good reviews on Amazon and will make a great swap item (my husband isn't the biggest Transformers fan).

My Geeky Goodies Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Pony

Mordles Blind Bag Edition by Toyfinity.com - Value $1?

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Figure - Value $4?

I'm not sure what Mordles are even after going to Toyfinity.com, but I know My Little Pony! Based on the info card it looks like subscribers will receive one of three variations.

Verdict: My Geeky Goodies is really good at themed boxes! My husband enjoyed the throwback to his childhood days of watching Saturday morning cartoons. The value of this box is about $43, and I think that is pretty good for the $25 price.

What do you think of the February My Geeky Goodies?

Hello Liz!
Mordles are creatures which were originally included with an obscure toyline from 1985 called “Rocks and Bugs and Things”. A cult hit among monster toy collectors, the value of each of the ten original unique Mordles was close to $100 apiece a few years ago due to their scarcity.
As a fan of the line, I acquired the rights to RBT and reissued the Mordles to better expand their legend to a new generation.
So Mordles are a seemingly retro set of toys that are actually from the 80s!

Little Miss Boxy

This is one of the best geeky subs by far.

As far a geeky girl boxes the assumption that girls like “girly” things is one of the biggest problems in our culture not just in geek culture. I feel more than represented here – My Little Pony balances Transformers and really who didn’t watch He-Man and She-Ra if they’re geeks of the right age?

Collectible Geek is fabulous and they sent jewelry in this month’s box so I’d say they’re more than gender-balanced. Besides my Pop figures are two female characters.

If I actually had it in me, and I were ambitious, I would totally make a geeky womens box. Geek girls are totally underrepresented. The stuff in the current geek boxes are geeky and all, but…they are just more man geek oriented. XD So none of them appeal to me even though I am extreme girl geek. Why cant there be nerdblock jr but for women? Hello kitty, sailor moon, cutsie magical girls, my little pony, final fantasy, ect. I am just not into super heroes and big, buff he-man. Where are the magical girls and dragon necklaces?

You can find those things at Claires/Icing stores. They sell totes, pens, hats, earmuffs, jewelry, purses, etc. with sailor moon, mlp, hello kitty, and more.

True – But it would be fun to get them in a subscription box.

Liz: What is good box for geeky women? – I just started getting geek boxes, yet many of them dont seem girly enough for me.

I’m hoping the Naomi Kyle Quarterly box might be a sort of women’s nerd box. But I’ve been wanting a box like that too. More LOTR/Harry Potter/video game RPG/anime that appeals to women kind of box than the Star Trek/Star Wars stuff those nerd boxes always have.

I’m not sure there are any geeky boxes geared toward women. The only girly one I know of is the Nerd Block Jr Girls box. Sorry! 🙁

Thank you …. I hope one of the geek boxes comes up with women’s box. There are so many cute geeky womens items out there. I tried nerdblock classic last month, yet at my age I will never wear anything that says “screwdriver” on it – LOL! Canceled immediately when I saw that shirt.

My husband received a three-month gift sub from his mom. This was his last box and he says it was his favorite. He is a big fan of He-Man and Transformers!
