My Geek Box Subscription Review – January 2015 Box

My Geek Box is a monthly geek and gamer box that ships from the UK. (Lately we’ve been on a bit of a quest to subscribe to all the geeky boxes that exist, and this is one of the few from the UK that ships to the US!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

My Geek Box Subscription Review – January 2015 Comic

My Geek Box Magazine

DC Comics Justice League Comic #3 - Value $5

(This box comes with an exclusive My Geek Box mini magazine). My husband has gotten into comic books lately so he was excited about this DC Comic. (His only gripe is that he wished they had included the first in the series, since it isn't as easy to get into a series a few chapters in).

My Geek Box Subscription Review – January 2015 Shirt

Geek Shield Tee - Value $12?

I'm assuming this was made for the box, and I'm estimating on value.

My Geek Box Subscription Review – January 2015 POP

Judge Dredd POP Funko Vinyl - Value $10

My husband is always happy to see a new POP in a geek box - this is a win!

My Geek Box Subscription Review – January 2015 Batman

Superman Energy Drink - Value $3

Batman Keyring - Value $8

The website I found for this energy drink is in German, so I'm guessing on the value. And I'm guessing my husband will be keeping this keychain - he loves all things Batman.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $38. It's more than we paid for it, and that's with the pricey US shipping, so I'm good with the value. This box was a mixed bag for us, the POP, keychain and comic will be used, and we'll probably swap the rest.

What do you think of the January My Geek Box?

How do you subscribe? United States is not a option under countries.

If they aren’t taking US customers then that is new. I had no problem signing up with a US address. And I’ve successfully received a box as well.

Wish I had a better answer for you!

I got a Rick Grimes PopVinyl so I was really happy with that. My keychain is for Arkham Asylum so way cool as far as I’m concerned. And I love the shirt.

I have to say this might be the first sub box I’ve gotten where I plan on keeping everything! I loved it.

Thanks, Heidi. I was pretty amazed. The only Walking Dead PopVInyl I had was “Bicycle Girl” so getting Grimes was a real coup for me. 🙂
