We have the first Golden Tote March 2015 Spoilers!

(Is that a giraffe print dress?)

What do you think of the first Golden Tote spoiler pictures? I'm stuck in bitter cold weather and dreaming of Spring/Summer, so these colors look wonderful to me!

I have been part of the subscription box community for about a year now and am very familiar with all boxes, especially popular ones like popsugar, FFF, golden tote, etc. Although i’ve been a subscriber of FFF and popsugar for a year now, I have never purchased from Golden Tote (just graduated college, financial reasons..) However, I have now secured a big girl job and am totally ready to sub to some of the boxes I have been watching. This will hopefully include Golden Tote and Little Lace Box (I’m open to other suggestions too, if anyone has any).
Since the March tote will be my first, I do have a few questions. Once I sub in March, will it be like every other subscription service where I get it every month automatically or is it a one time thing and I have to keep going back each month?
And if I choose the $49 tote, I know it says 2-3 items but which is it typically? It is usually 3 items or is it more often 2 items? I’m just curious.
When do the totes usually arrive?
I appreciate any advice that anyone can give me. Thanks everyone!
Jill
To answer your questions, it’s a one-time thing, and you have to reorder each month. The $49 tote nearly always just has your chosen item plus one surprise item, but they sometimes throw in an accessory like a scarf. When totes arrive depend on what time you order and where you live. They often take a few days to ship out the first hour of orders (totes go on sale at 9 am PST on tote day). They ship from LA via UPS, so if you’re on the East Coast, it could take a week to arrive.
If you’re planning on ordering, you should join the Facebook trading group, “Golden Tote Trading Group.” (It’s closed, but they should let you in.) There you can learn lots of info from the FAQ pinned at the top–and meet lots of Golden Tote addicts! Hope this helps!

That pineapple sweater was made for my soul.

Right now I want to live in a place where you can wear what looks like a romper in March. Is that last picture a romper? I don’t want to wear the romper; I want to visit a warm place.

Yeah, it was in the high 70s in Santa Cruz for the last week too. I even had to go get a pedicure because I’ve been wearing flip flops for the last few days. 🙂 We are really going to be hurting for water in a few months though.

I need to stop reading about these boxes – LOL – I just created an account after seeing the spoilers. I have not signed up yet, because I’m trying to talk myself out of it. What is happening is I’m looking at the tote with more pieces and want that one verses the one with less pieces. How is the over all quality of the clothing? I’m asking because I don’t like very thin material that has to be layered. Is this similar to wantable, that you they pay for return shipping, and you can cancel online? verses waiting for an email?

However there is a sale/trade Facebook group that’s very active. I’ve bought and sold many things there no problem. It’s a great way to get rid of anything that doesn’t fit/isn’t your style. Just search Golden Tote Trading Group and an admin can add you in.

Nope, it is an all or nothing thing. You have to cancel the whole tote or keep it. You can’t return just individual pieces, but you can return your entire tote!
