Honey Stinger Kids' Organic Sour Citrus Chews - Value $1.50
Nature's Bakery Fig Bar in Blueberry - Value $1
I've tried the original Honey Stinger energy chews and I love them (they are basically just organic gummies). These sour citrus ones were delicious - and not super sour at all.
We've received probably every flavor of Fig Bar Nature's Bakery makes thanks to subscription boxes, and my husband loves them all!
Simply Organic Steam Gourmet Paprika Chicken - Value $6
Numi Organic Tea in Chocolate Roobios - Value $.70
I really like the Simply Organic brand - I've used their dip and seasoning mixes a lot. This Steam Gourmet pack is completely new to me, and I'm so glad Bestowed sent it! The box comes with the seasoning and parchment you need for a chicken dinner. This particular Paprika version contains dairy, so I can't use it, but I will be purchasing the Garlic Herb and Cajun versions that are dairy-free. (Finding a food convenience item that is also healthy is pretty rare, so I'm excited about this potentially becoming a pantry staple for me!)
I always like Numi Organic Tea, and while this tea isn't anything like eating a chocolate bar, it is pretty good!
I Heart Keenwah Cashew Cranberry Quinoa Cluster - Value $1.75
Morning Sunshine Breakfast Cookie in Dark Chocolate & Flax - Value $2
I've tried these Quinoa Clusters before, and I like them as a healthy sweet treat. They are pretty hard/crunchy though! And my husband loved this breakfast cookie. I was impressed by the nutrition of this cookie too. When I hear cookie I think high-sugar content, but this cookie only has 6-grams of sugar total.
Hammer Heed Mandarin Orange Mix - Value $1
Plum Organics Plum Vida - Value $2.50
I don't usually use energy mixes for workouts (I don't think I'm at that intensity level yet) so I'll pass this Hammer Heed along to a friend. I like that this Plum Organics Plum Vida has a lot of organic kale and spinach in the ingredients - I'm used to these pouches being mainly fruit based.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $16.75, which is better than last month's value. I think Bestowed has a good curation each month, and I've discovered a few favorite new products thanks to their box. Value-wise I can’t recommend this box at the regular price. I recommend waiting for a Bestowed deal to pop up on Gilt City, Groupon, etc. or to buy a subscription next time they offer a significant discount.
