Verdant Kitchen Georgia Gingerbread Men - Value $6

These cookies are made with all natural ingredients, organic ginger and my husband loved them!

Dinner Tonight! White Bean Chili Seasoning Mix - Value $4

Garlic Clove Foods Steel Cut Oats & Quinoa - Value $4

Georgia Crafted Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Seasoning

This White Chili Bean mix is dairy and gluten free! The recipe calls for sour cream and heavy cream, but I'm thinking I can omit those ingredients and still have a delicious chili.

My mom loves steel cut oats and quinoa, so it seems like this cereal was meant for her!

Georgia Crafted Subscription Box Review – January 2015 Lip Balm

Blue Haven Bee Company Body and Cuticle Cream in Herbal Explosion - Value $10

Rinse Bath & Body Co. Lip Balm in Peppermint - Value $4

Both of these products are natural and smell wonderful. I love the bee form of this cuticle cream, and the peppermint lip balm is very moisturizing and refreshing.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $28. In general for this subscription the value is in the curation, and the prices tend to be around the cost of the box. If you're looking for a unique box of goodies from Georgia I think you'll be happy with this box, but if you're looking for a box with a value significantly higher than the cost I don't recommend it.

What do you think of the January Georgia Crafted box?

I’m in Georgia. Baby, it is NOT cold outside. Sixty degrees right now. This month has felt like March, not January.

It’s the wild fluctuations that are killing me. Where I am (just outside Atlanta), there was one day it didn’t get above freezing. We’ve also had lots of days of cold drizzle and overcast skies. But then we’ve had other days where it started out around 35 and warmed up to the 50s or 60s.

I don’t mind the cold but the swings are seriously messing with my sinuses.

I must not be very aware of local artisans and companies as I’ve never heard of most of these brands.

I’ve had the Rinse lip balm before and it’s probably one of the best for chapped lips.
