Sudsy Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Soaps Unwrapped

I absolutely love everyone of these scents! (If the ingredients are all natural, it's most likely I'll be a fan, but these are amazing scent combinations). My favorites are the Rosemary Peppermint and the  Balsam Fir since they smell like the holidays to me!

Sudsy Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Lip

Heidi's Glossy Lip Balm in Peppermint - Value $3

This lip balm is exactly what it promises to be: it has a peppermint flavor, and a suprisingly glossy finish for a lip balm! I like it! (There was also a bonus Andes candy in the box).

Verdict: If you love natural soaps, I think this is an excellent subscription. The value is about equal to the cost (This box has a value of $21). The packaging on this box is great too - it's one of those boxes that you can smell the scents coming through even before you open it, and it feels like opening a gift - even the soap wrappers are made with wildflower seeds so you can plant them and grow flowers!

What do you think of Sudsy Box?

So glad you all are enjoying the soaps! The only “complaint” I’ve ever had with my soap is that it lasts so long and people want to move on to the next scent! So…I don’t really consider it a complaint. I think the reason Sudsy Box soaps last so long is due to the quality oils and butters that we use in the bars. We only use high grade olive oil, organic coconut butter, unrefined shea butter, and high quality coconut oil. 🙂

How long do these bars typical last? I’ve tried other homemade bars and the only lasted about 4-5 showers and I would keep them away from water!

OK, I wondered if that was just me — I got a lovely homemade bar of soap in a sub and it was gone in less than a week. It’s kept me from trying any soap subs.

Not this soap 🙂 A bar lasts me between 3-4 weeks. I gave my husband the one that reminds me of Irish Spring and he is impressed with how long it has lasted.

Ashley

Don’t forget to include that she also donates bars of soap every single month to people that don’t have it. I love that aspect of Sudsyy Box!

That is right Ashley! We donate to Clean The World which is an amazing organization that helps fight disease in underdeveloped areas. The simple act of washing your hands can reduce disease by as much as 50%!
Be on the lookout for some exciting changes with this at the first of the year.

This one is one of my favorite boxes and I loved the scents in this box very much. I also love the dimensions of the soap too- they aren’t too big as to be unwieldy in your hand but they don’t feel measly either, they’ve got a nice heft to them.

Terri,

So glad you liked the box this month! Right now we are working on some pretty amazing soaps for the February, Valentine’s Box! You won’t be disappointed. 🙂

I wish there would be more of a mix of items in this box. – 2 Soaps and another item, maybe not including the lip balm and adding another bigger size item – Or Have 2 soaps at a cheaper price point – 2 soaps in a box even if it is every other month, I find more ideal.

Liz – you might want to check the paper shredding again if you still have it. I received a red and a green Andes. Your red one looks like it is next to the soap in the upper left.

I love this month’s box. I can’t decide which soap to use first. It’s perfect for this time of the year with 2 holiday scents and one for the dry weather.
