Personally, I’m never in a rush to get any of my sub boxes, and I’ve learned to not get mad. Glossybox is one of the few subs that continually has brands that I love, like Tarte.
It depends on when you sign up as to when you get your box. And it should be known by now that Glossybox is kinda like Hautelook as in you have to wait sometimes, but when you get your box… it’s excellent!
I don’t know, I feel like people always pick on glossybox. Yes they have their faults, but I feel like they will get better the longer their sub is around…. they are still a young company! Their brand partnering is outstanding. I feel like it’s much better than Boxycharm.

It isn’t just shipping Jennifer, their customer service is total crap. I’ve sent 4 emails in the past 2 weeks telling them my November box came completely damaged and included a picture of all the broken products and they have not responded once. And I think it’s sad that customers have to contact them through Facebook (which I don’t have) because they can’t respond to their emails.
I’ve had other issues as well and they responded within 3 days but can’t seem to answer my email about damaged products? This company is a joke. And no way is it better than BoxyCharm. Just because they have good brands and pretty packaging doesn’t mean they’re a good company. I at least get my BoxyCharm in a timely manner, they respond to any issues I have, they have great products and they make sure my box arrives within the same month they charged me! That’s what makes a good company not late/lost boxes and ignored emails. But hey everyone has their own opinion. Just know people don’t pick on Glossybox, they bring upon themselves. Glad I cancelled before the cut off date for the next box. Once I get December I never want anything to do with this company.

Well, I signed up the first week of November, and haven’t received a November or December box yet. Customer service says the boxes will be shipped “soon.” So, I don’t feel like I’m being unfair in picking on Glossybox. I’m a patient person, but this is ridiculous.

Totally agree with everyone! They use this to lure you in and never send it. And if you do sign up don’t expect to get your box in a timely manner. They didn’t even ship my November box until December! And cs is terrible fyi.

I must be in the 1% club with Glossybox, I have never received my box too late. It has always been before the end of the month and my BB cream came in my first box. I even ordered my first box on like the 17th of the month and it arrived within 10 days. I also got my special edition box and throwback boxes within two weeks of ordering them. No complaints here, this is probably my favorite sub. But I also don’t get upset if my box arrives during the last weekend of the month.

My very first box came early in the next month. But ever since then, I’ve gotten everything in a reasonable amount of time (including the Holiday LE box and the throwback boxes, and a Fan Friday I won came in 2 days, which was really surprising to me).
Obviously this isn’t the case for everyone, and GB needs to work on that. But I, personally, haven’t had any problems.

Oh Glossybox…never again. I was lured in by the Alex and Ani bracelet deal more than a month ago, and still haven’t received the bracelet, the November box or the December box. Way more stress than it’s worth. Their special edition boxes seem pretty nice, but I am done with the sub.

That seems to be how they lure people in. Free items and then forget to send them. But I signed up for the BB cream which they forget in everyone’s boxes and ended up sending out a 2nd box with the BB cream in it too. I just hate the super late shipping and that they auto-renew.

This is a theme with Glossy – advertise free incentive gifts, “forget” to send them and then only “remember” after hundreds complain about getting nothing. I had to hound them for the cream and again about the second box. It took 9 weeks before I received both. It’s a great marketing ploy to attract first time subscribers. They clearly don’t focus on monthly member satisfaction since these deals typically only apply to new subs. And this issue is in addition to their poor shipping and customer communication track records. It’s the reason I dropped my monthly sub and only buy LE boxes. It’s way less frustrating that way. I started to feel like I was their employee I was emailing so often, lol
