My gwp purchase finally came today, the actual purchase, makeup sponge, came Tuesday. I am excited to try it. I am already a fan of several brands. Wouldn’t pay full price for it, but it was worth the money I spent on the sponge.

I WILL NEVER WORK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
It wasn’t clear if the large gift was available, so I called the company. The gift was long gone — fine.
So I set up an order with three gifts with purchase. The helpful customer service rep and I went over the order again and again to make sure it worked out. Sale prices, GWP all taken care of.
The box arrived, I charged full retail and none of the gift with purchases were included.
One the wrong sized item was on the order — not the one I ordered, so I no longer qualified for the GWP.
Another, the GWP was no longer available
The last, the man told he couldn’t find the GWP anywhere and they never have GWP with the brand.
I saw the order before it was placed, and this isn’t it. What happened between when the order was placed and when it was processed.
I feel cheated, with no remorse from the company.
Anyone know where online businesses are reviewed?

I just got mine today, not too thrilled with it, pictures make everything look way bigger. Everything is sample sized except maybe the facial treatment set. Hate to be the Debbie Downer, but I don’t get a $142 value either, I got barely $100. Thankfully it was free and I have some new products to try. On a side note the perfume sample set I ordered, a set of 6, one came broken and one was completely empty. But I contacted beautybar.com and they already sent out a replacement, which was nice.

Mine was just delivered complete with the gift plus a Lavanila pure vanilla perfume .13fl oz.
It’s a great set with a good variety. I’m planning to add these to my travel pouch that I keep in my purse. Everything is travel size. 🙂

Thank you Liz for the info and I just received my shipment with GWP! They included an extra item which isn’t showing on the picture. It is Vanilla Grapefruit fragrance sample from Lavanila Laboratories (0.13 fl oz) and it has spray top. I might gift Sanctuary Spa set as they came in a box! I am most excited about L’Occitane and Peter Thomas Roth products. I won’t use the bronzing lotion…

I just got mine in the mail, and started looking up reviews on the products to see if I wanted to use them all or give some as gifts. Has anyone even heard of Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden? I haven’t. It’s the biggest component of the GWP so I was hoping to find it on Beautypedia, Sephora, or Birchbox to read reviews but it’s not on any of them. Can anyone vouch for the brand?

I purchased something from Sanctuary Covent Garden a few years ago when I was on vacation in London. They sold a whole line of the products at Boots (i.e. Walgreens, Duane Reade equivalent). So, I always thought of it as a drugstore brand rather than a luxury brand. The product I bought then (Body Moisture Spray) was good quality though.
It looks like this was sold on QVC’s website in the USA for a while and is sold on Amazon for a pretty penny more than it is on the company’s own website.

I was looking this up too and this is what I’ve found (someone can correct me if I’m wrong about anything):
I think it’s a British brand. It’s dedicated to bringing the spa experience to you in your own home.
I found product reviews on the Boots website.
Apparently, they’ve closed their spa in May 2014. Their business had a 4 out of 5 on Wahanda and a 4 out of 5 on Yelp.

Just got an email that these “free gifts” were gone even though it showed in my confirmation email. It said they would credit me $10 back to my form of payment. That’s nice they offered that but I really wanted the free gift. Won’t fall for this again since they couldn’t keep up with demand.

I’m curious… did your package ship yet? If not, maybe that’s a clue to the rest of us that if our package hasn’t shipped yet and that we are also one of the people who are not getting the free gift.
If it did ship, well I don’t know how we’d tell unless we’d get the email.
My friend also joined in this giveaway. Even though we were both told that we’d receive the package in the mail on the 3rd, mine has shipped and but my friend’s has not and it says only, “label created”. I think I’ll get mine… but my friend may be receiving an email too.

Wow, I am not impressed. I had everything in my cart and was in the payment portion and then BOOM right as I was about to press “confirm” it was out of my cart. I called about it and they said that it must have sold out right then. I feel like it is very sneaky.

That happened to me with a different promotion. I spent $75 to get another mystery sample box, and it was in my cart, but went through the checkout and it was gone, never got it, even though it showed in the cart originally. I called and the guy basically said tough luck, I emailed customer service and another lady said sorry they couldn’t do anything about it, but gave me a $10 credit. I got a perfume sample set I ordered yesterday today, so super fast shipping. But one of the vials is already opened and totally empty and another one, when I opened it the spray part broke off in my hand, so you can’t close it back up or spray it. Very disappointed in their products.

The same thing happened to me. I was shopping, had it in my cart, and went to take a phonecall. When I came back 10 minutes later and tried to check out, the gift was missing from my cart. The picture and offer for it is also now missing from the main page. Bent out of shape about that, I dumped my cart & logged out without purchasing anything. Everyone who was able to snag one of these gifts can consider themselves very lucky indeed, what a GREAT freebie. Too bad they didnt have enough in stock to meet demand.

What a great deal! I ordered a Caudalie lip conditioner for $12, got a free VinoPerfect Radiance Serum deluxe sample, and the Cyber Monday GWP. It’s being delivered tomorrow with free shipping! Thanks for sharing! I tried to talk myself out of this deal but it was just too good. Picked up the $28 L’Occitane hand cream set + GWP and a Noir Cosmetics eyeliner (I lost my Birchbox sample and it’s my favorite eyeliner ever, but I usually can’t justify spending $15 on eyeliner when I already own so many *okay* ones) then added some on-sale wrapping paper (which I need, since I don’t have any at home right now) for ~$39 shipped after all codes. Awesome!
