Fair Treasure Subscription Box Review – December 2014 Card

Sanctuary Spring Holiday Card - Value $5

This card is handmade with recycled paper. The entire card is designed via paper cut outs - and the detail work is beautiful.

About Sanctuary Spring:

Sanctuary Spring exclusively employs women who are escaping prostitution in the Philippines. Some were physically forced, some were tricked, some were forced into prostitution by the relentness of poverty. All of them want a new beginning, and your purchase of Sanctuary Spring cards sustains programs that assist them in their restoration process while also enabling them to provide food and education for their families.

Fair Treasure Subscription Box Review – December 2014 Ornament

Fair Trade Holiday Elephant Ornament - Value $8?

I couldn't find a retail price for this ornament, so I'm estimating the value. It's made in Nepal with 100% wool.

About Fair Trade Holiday:

Many of the artisans who make Fair Trade Holiday products are women. Everyone is provided with a safe and healthy working environment, living wages and a range of benefits. Your purchases help to support these artisans, their families and their communities as well as helping to preserve their traditional crafts.

Fair Treasure Subscription Box Review – December 2014 Necklace

Mata Traders Dueling Triangles Necklace - Value $32

This is probably my favorite jewelry piece ever from Fair Treasure. I love the mix of gold and black:

Verdict: I thought this was a great holiday box from Fair Treasure. The card and ornament are very appropriate, and the necklace is great year round! And the value is about $45. What do you think of the December Fair Treasure box?

I personally like Fair Treasure better than Globein, mostly because of the items I’ve received. Occasionally there is something I’m not crazy about, but the quality is very high and I can always gift or swap things I can’t use. The bowl from November was incredible and I agree that this month’s necklace is amazing!

I’m finally getting Globein because I like the idea of handmade by artisans. I like their December box a lot. As far as this box – I like the elephant in this box, yet the rest of the items are not my style. – If FAIR Treasure ever has a good coupon for new subscribers I’d consider signing up, in hopes other boxes are similar to the last box you got.
