Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code – December 2014 Hitch

Boon Hitch - Value $7.50

Under the Nile Scrappy Elephant - Value $8

This Hitch is a pacifier clip that is BPA, PVC and phthalate free. (FYI - it is handwash only).

This little stuffed elephant is made with organic cotton scraps, and it is so cute!

Citrus Lane Review & Coupon Code – December 2014 Ornament

Little Hoot Board Book - Value $8

Pearhead Handprint Keepsake - Value $12

This book is a fun twist on the traditional bedtime struggle - the little owl wants to go to bed early, but his parents want him to stay up and play!

I think this ornament kit is such a great holiday gift for any new parents. Looking at the reviews on Amazon, some reviewers love it and some hate it, so it may not work great for everyone - but I hope the family I gift it to likes it!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $36. That's more than the monthly cost of $29, and more importantly I like the quality of the items included. All will make wonderful gifts for our friends who are expecting!

What did you get from Citrus Lane this month?

I am loving Citrus Lane! I have found the products are a bit better now that my daughter is older (She just turned 2) All the toys have been well made and are used regularly. With all that being said- I was going to cancel my yearly subscription (waiting for a discount during the holiday) and they offered me 3 months at $15 each month. I had another sub for my niece and when I started to cancel that one they offered me the same deal. That is the best deal I have ever seen!

This was the first time I tried this box- Black Friday made it worth it. I wouldn’t have been happy at $29, but at $18 for the box and three wooden car/person sets I was happy. I got the 5 year old box, which included the pizza set, princess stamps, and owl book.

I received almost same box as Jill for my 23 month old son. We also picked Little Oink 🙂 The only difference was that I received Juice beauty’s Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer (0.5 oz) instead of food pouches. I am happy with this box and the value. Also a shout out to their customer service. I ship my boxes to my office and my November box arrived to the mailroom while I was on vacation for 2 weeks. It was signed by them, but I never received it. I reached out to customer service to let them know (but not expecting anything since it was signed and maybe got stolen or misplaced), but they kindly extended my subscription by one month. I have been a customer for a while and it made me feel great. Citrus Lane was recently bought by Care.com, so I was wondering how the curation of the box will be changed, but December box was definitely better than the last few months. They send out surveys every month, so it is worth filing out to express our liking.

I LOVE the box this month! I have a 3 yr old and received a little hoot book, which she loves! We got to pick out melissa and doug stamps set, which I was excited about because I almost bought some. And then we got a play pizza food set which my daughter will also love! (saving the stamps and play food for Christmas).

I got the handprint ornament in my box last year and have mixed feelings on it. GREAT idea, but didn’t solidify very well even though we followed the directions exactly. But I still love having a handprint on my tree! This month, our 16-month old gender neutral box included the Little Oink book (we got to pick), a Green Toys pot and utensils set, a Hape early explorer counter stacker, and 2 food pouches by Love Child (a brand that’s new to me). Fantastic box–a big win this month!! I am just thrilled!
