Phone Case of the Month is a fun and unique subscription service – each month they send you a new limited edition designed case. (Subscribers get different cases each month, so you may get a different case than the one in this review).

You Are The Pineapple of My Eye Case

Verdict: This case is cute - a little too summery for me right now though. I'm also hoping they start carrying cases for iPhone 6 soon - I am planning on upgrading next month!

FYI - A common question I get on these reviews is how durable these cases are. I have personally dropped my phone in these cases and they’ve been fine, but it is not the same protection as say an Otter Box. So if you need a lot of protection for your phone I wouldn’t recommend this subscription, but if you are looking for a sturdy basic phone case, Phone Case of the Month definitely holds up.

What do you think of Phone Case of the Month?

These are so great. I just got my daughter a 6 month subscription for Christmas. She will love these , she is always wanting a new case but they are so expensive. Problem solved. I hope they send her the pineapple one first.

Does anyone know if there is a male and female version? If I were a man I’d be very bummed receiving this case, it’s girly.

The pineapples are so cute!! I had this sub with my old phone (samsung galaxy s3) and out of four cases received, I only got one that I actually liked. I wonder if it’s b/c I had an older less popular phone? Now I have an S5 and am considering signing up again!

I really love these cases but the one and only time I’ve shattered my screen was with one of these cases on. If you’re hard on your phone and need something durable, I would get something a little more durable.

What do the front of their phone cases look like? Do they have any sort of bump that goes around the front of the phone?

No bump. My iPhone 5c that I just bought in June is now wasted thanks to a Phone Case of the Month case. Boxes have become overrated in general, and I am completely cynical and bitter. I don’t understand the constant excitement for tons of things you can’t possibly all use anymore.

It’s not very fair to blame Phone Case of the Month for your phone damage. They don’t claim that their cases are going to prevent breaking. But yes it’s true that the cases are not very protective, they are just cheap cute cases.. And I agree the subscription box hype has gone a little out of control. I fed into it for a bit, but after trying a dozen or so boxes I now just get 2 on a regular basis and still end up with tons of stuff I don’t need or want.

I would like to subscribe, but the question I have with this subscription is how do they send out the phone cases, what if they sent out a girly phone case to a guy or vice versa is there a way when you are signing up to pick rather you are male or female?

They say their cases are gender neutral, but I personally think they are geared more towards women. I’ve only gotten one case a few months ago, but that’s what I remember!

Ok thank you
