Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Box

Little Lace Box is a lifestyle subscription box for women. They've been around for only a few months so far - but I've been really impressed with the quality of their boxes so far.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included.

Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Clutch

Shiraleah Elizabeth Clutch - Retail Value $47.99

Subscribers will either get this clutch or a clutch/cross-body bag. I think I would have preferred the cross-body bag, but really I can't complain at all. This piece is gorgeous, super festive, and I don't have anything like it.

Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Lining

The lining is pretty too!

Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Splendid

Splendid Dirt Pumpkin Mask - Retail Value $19.99

I've tried a few other Farm House Fresh items, and I'm really impressed with their line. (Pretty much any new beauty brand that Anthropologie starts carrying I have to try). This mask is 99% natural, smells like pumpkin spice, and gets great reviews - I can't wait to try it!

Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Body Wash

Farm House Fresh Whoopie Cream Body Wash and Bubble Bath - 100 ml Value $7

Every subscriber got a bonus gift this month too - I believe you either received this body wash or a perfume item. This body wash smells just like icing to me!

Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Go Comb

Go-Comb - Retail Value $9.99

This Go-Comb is as thin as a card you can fit in your wallet. It's a smart idea to make it easy to always have a comb on hand. I personally have never needed a comb on the go, but it's a clever idea that will likely go to my stocking stuffer gift pile.

Little Lace Box Subscription Review & Coupon – Oct 2014 Lipgloss

Painted Earth Lip Gloss - Value $6.50

Ali Reznikoff Sterling Silver Earrings - Value $14

This lipgloss mini adds a good amount of shine and shimmer. It also has a refreshing mint flavor.

At first I thought these earrings looked like paper clips! They have a really interesting design - but they just aren't for me.

Verdict: I like the October box a lot! The clutch is a special item perfect for holiday parties, and the other items feel thoughtfully curated. And the value is over $100 - which I think is great for a $40 box.

What did you think of the October box?

I’ll post more later because my front doors are being installed. I received my box today and all I can say is WOW!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I know! Beautiful and unusual product selections, ridiculously high value (I’m starting to wonder how they make any money), and, once again, I will use everything. Love, love, love.

Ditto! I am incredibly impressed, and what made it all the better was receiving it before I’d seen all sorts of spoilers (I’m looking at you, PopSugar). I especially liked the personal touches – I could tell that the owners really put a lot of love and care into this.

PA Anna, this is exactly my reaction “WOW ” Huge WOW!!! My first LLB, lovr, love, love!!! This box made my day. So perfect in every aspect <3

I just got my shipping confirmation for the November box- they said shipping November 17-23, and when it sold out they pulled the trigger and shipped! I am so pleased- I will get this box from Florida faster than I get a Popsugar box, and I live in the SF Bay Area. Thanks for not making us wait!

I am also thinking about canceling Popsugar to keep just this box,
Birchbox and MSA quarterly. I already cancelled FabFitFun- they seem to be moving toward a different demographic to me. At some point there is only so much “stuff” I can keep or gift, and the Little Lace Box stuff seems more in line with what I use. (Not counting the opt in boxes, which of course you can pick and choose).

I wasn’t terribly upset about the Popsugar website and shipping fiasco, but when the curators seem to care about their customers, as shown by Liz and these three sisters, it really does make a difference.

Several people said LLB had an incredible loyalty program that rivaled Birchbox. Birchbox offers $1 for 10 points and you can earn up to 60 for reviews each month, which equates to basically $6 (can’t spend them yet but that’s another story). LLB offers $1 per 50 points and you earn 150 points for reviews which equates to $3.

Did I miss something?

Side note: Those earrings look like they would be poking you all the time.

Erin

That is right sue! So every month I earn about $15-$18 in reviews because there are usually 5-6 items in the box. I have over $50 to spend and I have only been a subscriber since September, its a pretty awesome review process 🙂

Sue

Aw…you mean it’s 150 points for a review of one item….I see…..

Thanks

Martha

Erin, I’ve been with Little Lace since August, and I haven’t really paid much attention to the points. I did do reviews, so I had a bunch of points stored up. I decided to buy a 12 month subscription, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it on their site. You can’t buy a second subscription if you already have one, so I contacted them and the first thing they sent to me was my point total. They said do you want to use these points to lower the 12 month subscription by $31.60. I said YES!!!

I couldn’t believe it. When I told my boyfriend he said, why didn’t you wait to get enough points to buy a whole year for free. I probably could have done that in another six months, but I didn’t even think of it. I was shocked that they let me do it at all.

December theme “A fresh new start” , things for you to make you look and feel amazing 🙂

Love LLB! I had a problem with their website crashing whenever I put in my card information (probably a sign that I didn’t need another sub) and I emailed their CS right away. I got a response about 10 minutes later and I worked with their IT person to correct the issue. He was so friendly and funny. I’m not a blogger, famous in any way, or anyone particularly special and they were so quick to help me. I have literally never had a better experience with customer service (for a subscription box or any other type of company for that matter). Their box curation is exactly what I’m looking for in a subscription and I cannot wait to see what they have up their sleeves for November.

Katie

Well, this review made me really excited! I just signed up – unfortunately November was already sold out, I cant wait for December’s box!!!!

Liz, you are the BEST! I look at your blog all the time! I never purchase a sub without checking out your review first. 🙂 Thank you!

This box looks awesome.
FHF splendid dirt mask is my favorite face mask of all time. You can really feel it working.

I saw pictures of this cross body bag on different bloggers pages and it is wonderful. So bold and different! I am sad I was too late for October box, it was sold out when I decided to buy 🙁 Now I know November will be great : 7 items, $170 value, but if December will be great too, I will sign up for a yearly subscription 🙂 Reviews are so over the moon because 3 sisters who owns LLB are so nice, take times to chat with us, and I feel they really care about their customers and put great thematic boxes. LLB, Bianca Jade and Liz, those boxes l buy with confidence. Oh, Frenchbox too 😉

I post over-the-top comments about Little Lace Box all over the internet, and I assure you, I do not work for them, don’t know anybody that works for them, and have no financial interest in their company whatsoever. I’m just a satisfied customer who’s been treated very well, and enjoys spreading the good word. If you’re looking for a good customer service experience and a lifestyle box that feels special and well-curated, this is the one.

The comments are over the top because they earned it 🙂 Count me as a fan of LLB. I love this box. My variations are the Nancy cross body clutch and the gloss is Mint Victorian Charm. My bonus ist he Spongelle Beyond Cleansing french Lavender Infused Body Wash buffer which I should be packing into my luggage instead of commenting on the blog 🙂 The clutch is perfect for me. I learned a lot about clutches on this blog. I looked it over closely and it is well-made, with a lining, and included extra stones for just in case. I will be using it a lot in the next few months.

The lipgloss smells minty and looks nice on me. I find myself reaching for it more often specifically because of the minty look. I haven’t tried the mask yet because I have another mask open and am unsure how long they are good for once open. I hope to try it in a few weeks.

I’m also impressed with all the little details such as the note, having my name on the card, and shipping cost (I’m always curious about those type of thing).

I ordered my sister a November box a few weeks ago. I’m happy they are sending them out before the Thanksgiving week when people are traveling. I can’t wait to see the November box and am hoping that the oversized item is a throw or a pillow. I love that they are sending a holiday theme box early enough so we can enjoy it in December. I also liked how they posted the teaser.

I should proofread before posting. Minty smell not look. This is what happens when you should be packing instead of posting.

Is it Just me, or do some of the comments seem a little suspiciously over -the -top??
Does look like a great box, but…..

That would usually make me suspicious too, but as someone who subs to a lot of boxes, this one is truly one of the better ones. Good shipping times, good communication from the company, personalization, great, unique items. Love it! Another this is, I think the decline in some other more popular boxes (Popsugar) actually highlights others to be so much better at this time.

I loved the box! I actually got some type of pre-filled, lavender bath sponge that was really neat, as my bonus gift. It will make a nice, small, Christmas gift. I also received the cross-body bag and love it! It is very unique and went perfect with the outfit I wore for a special date with my husband recently.

LLB is winning mad customer loyalty points these days, both with their products and their customer service. Today, they sent out an email saying they knew December was a tough month for money for most people, so they’d make it extra easy for members to skip that month if they wanted to. Of course, my reaction was precisely the opposite: “You will pry my December box from my cold, dead hands.”

Reply ButtonReply

Patricia

Hahaha I had a pretty similar reaction. But it was thoughtful they have awesome cs, LLB rocks! I m so excited for the november box 🙂

Samantha

I received the cross body and it’s gorgeous! The earrings are actually very pretty, simple and a little edgy when on. I really loved everything in the October box but it is completely sold out, as well as November. The October box was the first box I have ever gotten in which I absolutely loved every single item, that has never happened with any other sub box (and I’ve gotten A LOT). I would jump on the bandwagon now if I were you! I’m obsessed with this sub and I just splurged for an annual subscription which I haven’t done with any other sub (cancelled popsugar…) Their customer service is fabulous as well. Also, their point system is fantastic! You can review your items each month and get points to spend in their shop. I’ve subscribed for only a couple months now and already racked up over $30 so I feel like that justifies the price as well. I can’t recommend them enough (even though I want to keep them a secret!)

I just signed up and it says I’m getting the Nov box. Where does it say it’s sold out?

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

Where does it say you’re getting the November box? I signed up today too and it just confirmed, but didn’t say which month I was getting. I did see on the website it said November was sold out and taking orders for December.

Samantha

Their website and facebook both say sold out! Wow! I hope you get it!

sonya

It says so under their sneak peek page, but I think they announced it was sold out yesterday on Facebook. Their site says they’re now taking orders for December. Maybe its a glitch and you lucked out, this next box seems like it’ll be even more amazing!

misha

I’d love to see the cross body bag some people got! I’m pretty biased since I think cross body bags are the best. Not really sure if i’m understanding these earring. I honestly thought they were hair pins, and I think they may look like paper clips in your ears. Super nice pair for someone going for a SUPER minimal look LOL

Hi! I got the cross body bag and while its nothing I’d pick up myself I absolutely love it. So different but so fun and a great change of pace. Sorry I do not know how to post a pic on here but here s a link to it http://littlelacebox.com/product/nancy-cross-body-clutch/.

Loved my box! I actually got the cross-body bag and a more hot pink version of the lip gloss. I have pictures of it them up on my site if you want to see what they looked like. I actually prefer the clutch you received. -smile- (Grass is always greener!) Looking forward to the November box, though, which I believe is on its way soon!

I wish I signed up for this for this month… I just love that bag, perfect for holiday parties.

Sara

I love this box!! Is there anyway you can still get the October box? I just bought the pumpkin mask off Amazon last week, and it smells delicious!!

Reply ButtonReply

sonya

Probably not, their November boxes are even sold out. I read on MUA the next box is valued at over $170 I think, and it will feature 7 items. Can’t wait to see it.

Reply ButtonReply

Erin

I just subbed and it says in my confirmation email that I’m receiving the Nov box, so I’m confused about Nov being sold out.

Sara

PS- The clutch is beautiful too, I have a vintage clutch that looks a little like that one.
