Cate & Chloe Subscription Box Review & Coupon – November 2014 Box

Cate & Chloe is a monthly jewelry subscription box. Each month they send you two jewelry pieces. They used to send to classic pieces each month, but lately it seems like they are mixing it up and sending one classic piece and one “statement” piece. (This month they are back to two classic pieces).

Cate & Chloe kindly sent me this box to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Cate & Chloe Subscription Box Review & Coupon – November 2014 Info

Each box comes with a card which details each jewelry piece and it’s retail value. (I would say these retail values are inflated, but the jewelry is definitely worth the $20 a piece subscription pricing).

Cate & Chloe Subscription Box Review & Coupon – November 2014 Earrings

Harper “Gentle” Earrings – Retail Value $99

These aren’t my style – but they are definitely well-made and will make a good gift. Here are the product specifications from their site:

• Silver Alloy pendant drop earrings
• Dangle style, no backing
• Crystal CZs

Cate & Chloe Subscription Box Review & Coupon – November 2014 Bracelet

Aspen “Elegant” Silver Bracelet – Retail Value $99

Cate & Chloe Subscription Box Review & Coupon – November 2014 Silver Bracelet

This isn’t listed on their site yet, so I don’t have the specifications for it, but it’s gorgeous. This is going in my mom’s holiday gift pile. I think she’ll get more use out of it than I will!

Verdict: All the prices listed here are the retail prices from Cate & Chloe, but I think you can just ignore those prices and decide whether or not you think each piece is worth $20 to you. For me – the quality is definitely there for $20 a piece. They tend to send more silver jewelry too – so that’s another thing to keep in mind if you are thinking about getting this subscription.

  1. Best customer service ever! They make sure you are happy.

  2. Out of curiosity, is the bracelet meant for really tiny wrists? I used to get this sub and they sent me a bracelet in a similar style once (though rose gold). It fit me, just barely, and I am small-boned. I imagine it did not fit a lot of people who received it.

Sorry to see they are back to all silver/CZ stuff. That is one reason I left them when I did — too many similar pieces.

  3. I tried this sub for about 4 months. They are very nice people customer service wise. They only sent me the items with the fake diamonds in it. I would never wear anything that dressy. I wear more rocker/ boho type stuff. I have no fancy parties to go to. The items were not for me. They are however very pretty and well made in person and classy looking. I ended up asking them for stuff without the diamonds. I sent back all the items they sent me. They sent me stuff without the diamonds that they found for me. Very nice people who want you to be happy. I would recomemend them.

  4. I LOVE this subscription box service! It’s my favorite jewelry one. Like you said, Becka, if you don’t end up liking the pieces, they make great gifts! I like that they’re pretty classic pieces and not too crazy.

  5. Pretty bracelet! I think I’m gonna try this sub. I used your code (thanks!) and hopefully I’ll get something I like. If not, these items seem very giftable.
