Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – November 2014 Box

Bespoke Post is a monthly men’s subscription box. It’s a very high-quality box, and most of their selections are gender-neutral so I’d say my husband and I love this box equally!

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview the new Bespoke Post box offerings on the first of each month, and you can easily skip any month you aren’t interested in your account section.

This month we picked the Brim box.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Each box comes with a fold out sheet detailing the items included and it usually has tips on how to one or more of the items.  (This month included a list of tips for preparing your home for winter).

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – November 2014 Front

Quintin & Co. Melton Wool Hat - Value 45?

I can't find this exact style on their website, so I'm estimating the value.

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – November 2014 Back

It's really well-made with a leather band at the back. (Subscribers got to pick which color they wanted for the hat).

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – November 2014 Mugs

Gotham Textile Mug Set - Value $40?

These mug wraps are made with water proofed leather, and I love the campfire-vibe with the mason jars. (I'm guessing on value again for these items).

Bespoke Post Review & Coupon – November 2014 Cocoa

MarieBelle Spicy Hot Chocolate - 40 g Value $3

And they even included hot cocoa to enjoy in your mugs!

Verdict: While I couldn't find the exact retail values of most of the items since they were made exclusively for Bespoke Post, I feel confident saying this box has a value of at least $90. That's double what we paid, and as usual everything is top-quality, so I'm very happy with the value.

What do you think of the Brim box? Which Bespoke Post box did you pick this month?

We opted for the Refresh box for November and my husband really loved his dopp kit (posted pics). I think it’s sold out now and I can see why since he found almost all the little travel toiletries really useful. We also took advantage of the Mystery Black Box for Black Friday which included a few doubles of some of the items he got in Refresh. Luckily they were of the items he really liked, such as the solid cologne (in a different scent) and another of the Dr. Squatch soaps. We really love this service and find a lot of value in it!

I received the slate box yesterday and I absolutely love it and I know my husband will too at Christmas! With the discount code I think it’s a great deal. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Bespoke Post is a great box, and I have gotten at least half a dozen for my partner over the past year, and even bought Seared for myself when it came out. We got the Slate box this time around and I felt that I got my money’s worth. The balsamic vinegar was very flavorful in a spinach, goat cheese, cranberry, and pear salad I made. The bourbon brittle reminded me of butterscotch with a bit of booze thrown in. And those bourbon toothpicks were just plain unique. What I appreciate about Bespoke Post is their great curation and the ability to see what’s in the box as well as skip any months that don’t offer something I like. I noticed that Hampton’s Lane is following a similar model though they don’t yet seem to have a store that sells individual products, nor have I figured out how to send boxes as gifts or order multiples of the same box.

This looks like a great box! I couldn’t interest my husband in it. I’m hoping that Bespoke will have something for him next month. I think the wool hat, mugs and hot chocolate are a great idea.

Great box!
I signed up last month and had a VERY difficult time choosing which box to get. I decided on the Slate box for my foodie brother in law, but of course when it arrived my husband sniffed it out and expressed disappointment that it wasn’t for him. On the archive page for the Aged box, there’s Facebook comments on the bottom that seem to hint that it’s coming back for the Holidays – I really hope so, because that’s the perfect box for him. Fingers crossed!

I’ve been coveting Slate myself, and it’s still showing on their site under “available boxes” (as is the fabulous Highlands box with the awesome scarf)
