On the flip side of the card is an itemized list of everything included with retail prices.

Skandicrush Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Cups

Ferm Living Geometry Cups - Value $42 total

I love the simplicity of these cups. And they are 100% porcelain and dishwasher safe! I really like that they included two in the box so you can have a set. I imagine these will be a very in-demand swap item! (I'd love to get a set of 4!)

Skandicrush Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Cut

Areaware Diamond Box - Value $15

I've actually received one of these before in a box (I think a Coco Rocha Fancy Box), and it's a lovely design. Since I already have one I'll probably gift this one!

Skandicrush Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Tongs

Sagaform Oak Tongs - Value $4

These are pretty straight forward, but always useful!

Skandicrush Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Container

Sagaform Storage Box - Value $25 (Link to similar style)

Skandicrush Subscription Box Review - October 2014 Open

I developed a love of Sagaform containers thanks to working at ModCloth, so this was the best surprise to find in the box! It's going on display in the kitchen!

Verdict: The first box has a value of a little over $85! I think that's great for a $50 box - especially considering there are no "filler" items in this box. I am seriously impressed with the first Skandicrush box and I really hope they stay this consistently awesome. What a unique and fun subscription box! What do you think of the first Skandicrush box?

What a great box! I have Swedish in-laws, so have received many of these modernist & utilitarian yet natural & stylish Scandinavian designs as gifts in the past, which I love, love, love and use a lot. I wish I could sub this box but $50 is a bit high price for me right now – putting it on my wish list…

I’m not subscribed to this box. It looks like a great first box with useful items. I think it is a nice touch to have 2 mugs and like how the design of the mugs plays off each other. The item I like best from the review is the storage box. I will be reading the reviews and might subscribe in the new year.

I appreciated the inclusion of two mugs as well. Of course it’s appropriate since fika is a social event! I looked at the Ferm Living site for their other designs (which are also nice) but realized that with shipping the expense would be a bit absurd. Then I found them at All Modern with more reasonable shipping, but they’re still $21/mug which is more than I’d like to spend.

Just received mine today as well! I thought it was fabulous and will definitely stay subscribed.

Was thrilled with these items, especially considering I took the gamble of subbing to an unknown box and got box 1 at the $35 promo price. Glad I did!

Sneaky Burrito

The value is good and the stuff is pretty cool. I’m not signing up because it’s not in the budget, but this one will be fun to keep an eye on. Someday, someday…

I can’t afford $50 / month either. If this were quarterly, I’d sign up in a heart beat!

I signed up for this back when the $15 off coupon was offered, and forgot about it. I was seriously SO thrilled when this arrived today. Everything is really great quality, and I love that they give you a set of cups instead of one.
