Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Box

GoodeBox recently released a limited edition box that benefits the Breast Cancer Fund. $20 from each box is donated. Since this box is for a great cause, and is full of amazing natural beauty items (that are full-size), I had to buy one.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Items

The Box: Limited Edition Goodebox to Benefit The Breast Cancer Fund (still available for purchase).

The Cost: $120 ($20 goes to The Breast Cancer Fund)

The Products:

Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Info

The box comes with a card detailing every item included.

Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Tatcha

Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder - Value $65

If you subscribed to the first My Subscription Addiction Quarterly box, then you know I love this cleanser and the next items too!

Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Lip Glosses

Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss in Champagne, Guava, and Pink - Value $45 total

Another of my all time favorite products! I love that this lip gloss isn't sticky at all, and the finish is a subtle shine and shimmer. (And it goes on very sheer so the colors work for pretty much anyone).

Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Yarok

CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balm - Value $26

Yarok Feed Your Moisture Shampoo - Value $38

I got a sample version of this skin balm in my regular GoodeBox this month, and it's a great all-natural balm/salve. Definitely a great product to have on hand for winter!

This shampoo is new to me, and I'm really excited to try it. It's vegan, safe for color-treated hair, and free of parabens, sulfates, etc. Plus it has a wonderful fresh scent.

Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Lip

Pacific Lip Treatment - Value $68

This is officially the most expensive lip product I think I've ever tried! I got to try the Pacific brand before thanks to a No More Dirty Looks Quarterly box, and I really was impressed with their formulas, so I'm happy to get a full size product from the brand. This lip treatment is essentially a lip balm. It's super moisturizing and provides a little bit of shine, for a healthy and natural lip look. It's also supposed to enhance lip fullness, but I don't see any difference there.

Limited Edition The Breast Cancer Fund GoodeBox Review Mud

Josh Rosebrook Cacao Antioxidant Mask - Value $60

This mask has been on my products-I-want-to-try list for a while. (I can't eat most chocolate because of dairy, so I'll get my chocolate fix anyway I can!) This mask is supposed to brighten, tighten and soften the skin. It takes about 45 minutes to dry, and I plan on testing it out this weekend!

Verdict: This box has a value of a little over $300. I'm thrilled with the curation of this box, and I plan on using every single item, so the value is great for me. And the fact that $20 of the purchase price went to the Breast Cancer Fund makes it even better!

Did you get this box? What's your favorite product discovery so far?

I finished the shampoo yesterday! I used it once a week by parting my hair and massaging it in. My hair loves it although I still find it awkward to use because of the lack of lathering.

Sadly I had to give the mask to my sister. It has witch hazel in it which irritates my rosacea 🙁 I didn’t check the ingredients until after I used it. She is happy with it. All the items are great in this box. I wish I bought a second box when it was discounted!

Thanks for the tip! I’ve struggled with the Yarok shampoo myself, so I’ll try your method. I’ve used it a few times and, while I don’t like the lack of lather, I love how it makes my fine hair so much fuller.

I love this limited box as well – it’s what got me started on Goodebox!

Andi – I hope it works for you! I section my hair into 4 quadrants and do them first, then the middle part of my hair next, and a tiny bit on the bottom. I have long, thick, wavy color-treated hair and it always looks great afterwards. Even my husband and older son compliments my hair when I use it. I’m actually a little sad it’s gone because it was a guarantee good hair day requiring no additional hair products except for the conditioner. It seem to brighten up my color a tad too.

I got my first Goodebox in November through the one-time purchase deal. What a novel idea! And it’s one of the best boxes I have received so far. Having sampled the Tatcha rice powder, I knew I had to buy more. Thanks for sharing the discount code for this box – I bought right away to get more rice powder, and to try these other new products. If Goodebox keeps offering such fantastic products, I’ll definitely have to become a regular subscriber!

This box was so amazing, I actually used everything in the box and loved it all minus the shampoo. Wasn’t crazy about it for my hair. I loved the Tatcha, Juice Beauty Lipglosses and Cacao mask, even the lip treatment, even if $68 is crazy for some lip balm it was fantastic. Sooo tempted to get another one, can’t wait for another limited edition box!

I agree, I LOVED LOVED LOVED every item. Except the shampoo. It just did not work well with my hair. I am going to let my sister try it out, maybe she will love it. It was a GREAT box though. So many great products!

If you do another box, Goodebox, I will be one of your first buyers. This magnificent limited edition box was a big winner for me. It is one of my two favorite subscription boxes all year. And that’s saying a lot, I get a lot of boxes! Great natural ingredient beauty items, just superb products, reasonable price, splurge-worthy items. Can’t say enough. For everyone who seems disappointed in the shampoo, remember it is not going to lather, but that it does soothe the scalp. I have used it a few times, but when I used it this weekend after hair color on Friday, it soothed my scalp and was a delightful experience.

Loved the box, nice job, goodebox!! I will gift a lip gloss or two, it’s all good.
Hands off my Tatcha! A miracle in 20 seconds.

I am most excited about the Tatcha rice powder facial cleanser, heard great things and lip gloss heard great things. The mask also looks wonderful and cool expensive lip treatment. I like the lip gloss colors too. This is a Fantastic deal abd those that missed out on MSA you should get this box. It is worth it for the Tatcha and lip glosses alone and then you get several other items and $20 goes to charity and you receive $300 worth of items.

This is the first sub in a long time that I have loved every single item featured and all with glowing reviews. Perfect to give as individual gifts, they will think you spent a fortune. 🙂 I am impressed with Goodebox with this one!!:-)

I agree, I love everything about this box. I thought I would swap some of the items but in the end I’m using everything in this box. The only thing I haven’t tried is the skin balm, shampoo, and the lip gloss. I’m still using MSA01 lipgloss and waiting until my skin dries out which it inevitably does in the winter and I want to finish my shampoo before trying out the yarok.

I hate typing on my phone. This is my second try. I love the shampoo. I could tell when combing my hair out in the shower that it was more manageable. I have thick, wavy color treated hair and it helped manage the waves. I brought the lipglosses with me to the retreat to wear a different one each day. I am thinking about buying a second box.

I got this box this week and I love every item in it! I tried the Josh Rosebrook Cacao mask last night and it was amazing. My skin looked great after this mask. I love the Pacific lip balm. I always use simple lip balm, and this is a unique product that I would not likely ever spring for unless it came at the deep discount that is this box. I don’t use lip gloss myself, but these beautiful Juice Beauty glosses will be gifted for Christmas and my daughter’s birthday. I was sorry that I never got your first box, MSA01, so the Tatcha was a big draw for me to purchase this box. The CVSkinLabs Skin balm is great on my knuckles, which have for some reason gone drier than the rest of my hands lately. I will use this sparingly for a long time. I am thrilled with this, it is one of the best boxes I have ever purchased. I am surprised to hear that there are more to purchase, because GoodeBox stated that all of the boxes would ship at one time, so they must have finally gotten enough orders to make the shipping worthwhile. I am totally turned on to GoodeBox now. Thanks very much for featuring this incredible box on your site when it came out!

I love every item in this box! Great deal for such beautiful products. Might have to snatch one up next time they are on sale. 🙂

I have been going back and forth about this box since you first posted about it. I was wanting to get another tatcha rice powder, since I fell in love from the MSA01 box. After seeing how great the other products looked from this review I decided to do it. I just ordered it. I think it looks like a fantastic box.

I bought it the first day and just received it. It sat with DHL for days before it gets transferred to the post office. I think it is a great deal, since I love the Tatcha from Liz’s box a lot. It is still available and I would love to buy another one, but would wait till it is cooler since I really do not like glosses sitting out in the heat for days. Hope it is still available.

Liz, I’d love to hear reviews from you on some of the products once you’ve tried them (especially the mask and lip treatment). I keep being tempted by this box because everything sounds so amazing but I also know how many beauty products I have sitting around unused because I’m too tired at night to bother doing anything more involved than washing my face… I don’t want to spend $120 on more things to sit in my medicine cabinet until they expire and I toss them… (so the rest of you – buy this box so they run out and I’m no longer tempted!!!)

Thanks for the feedback – I’ll try to get back to doing a wrap up post at the end of each month! 🙂

I’m thinking I might purchase this box. I just don’t understand why boxes put multiplies (I’m thinking glosses and balms) in a single box. Isn’t the point to try something and, if you like it, to become a customer? I’d take just one and for the other $30 ($20 according to goodebox) get a different item to try.

The shampoo looks deceptively huge, is it? If so that’s amazing, shampoo goes a long way if you use it right!

Liz Cadman

Yep – it is the 12 oz size. Should last a while! 🙂

This is a great box! If it wasn’t so close to Christmas, I would definitely purchase one.

WOW, what a great box!! I’m thrilled you say it’s still available for purchase, too!!

That looks like a really awesome box. I love the cacao mask and juice beauty lip glosses. I’m debating on getting one, but $120 seems rather steep for me.

Crystal Joyce

I’m thinking the same thing. I love everything in the box and I know I would use everything but the price is a little more than I should be spending at the moment.

I love this box, a lot. It’s unfortunate that it wasn’t released until near the end of the month. My budget is set by the first week and a half of each month. If this is still available come Nov 1, I’m likely going to order. $120 is pricey for sure. I could see this selling better at the $80-$90 price point. I get the donation aspect but going over the $100 mark generally puts a box out of financial reach for many.
