GoodeBox is a natural and organic beauty box. I’ve been subscribing for half a year now, and I’ve found that they usually have a good mix of full size and sample size products.

Can you guess I'm not too happy with these sample sizes? I'll be able to get 2 uses out of the cleanser and face scrub, but I hate these little Vapour samples. (And I love the Vapour brand!).

CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balm - .25 oz Value $13

I was ready to complain about getting more shampoo and conditioner samples, but then I opened up the cap of the shampoo - it smells amazing! Josh Rosebrook products are sulfate free, paraben free, phthalate free, etc. and now I want to try more products from his line!

This little skin balm is actually half the size of the full-size version. It's a very rich salve, so a little goes a long way - which explains why the full size version is only .5 oz!

Verdict: At first glance when I opened the box I was a little disappointed - I like at least one full size item in a box of this price point. I did end up discovering some new brands and products that I really like though, so I ended up being happy with this box. (The value is about $30 worth of products this month).

I hope that next month brings the return of a full size product or two though! What do you think of the October GoodeBox?

I was interested in this subscription after seeing their LE box. However, this box does not tempt me at all. I guess I’ll wait to see if they have another great LE box.

I received everything you did Liz, except for the shampoo and conditioner (I got two very small DN-UNIK skincare samples instead, which I put up for swap). The samples were way too small, especially those darn Vapour eye shadows and even though the face scrub leaves my face very smooth, it smells horrible! I’ve been subscribing to Goodebox for a year and a half and their boxes are either hit or miss and unfortunately this one was a miss. I’m hoping next month will be better – with at least one full size makeup item.

I’m going to try one more month of Goodebox, then I might cancel. I’ve had 3 months of boxes like this in a row. When Liz got her 2 lip products a few months ago, I got none :(. I do enjoy skin care, but my samples have been really small for this price point lately. I’ve been enjoying my vegan cuts beauty box much more!

I agree with the first comment. Liz got a box worth over $80 last month, while most other people got a box nowhere near that amount. The box values range way too much. I think they have some hiccups to work out before I consider resubscribing.

I forgot to put in my name before, but it’s me again. I went to the goodebox website and just updated my preferences. I found that I had put down that my style was more natural with little makeup! I changed to an option that I hope will illicit more make up! This was one of my first subs (I’m a newbie) and I think I know better how to fill out the profiles now ;). We’ll see!
