New Subscription Box for Design Lovers - Skandicrush !

There's a new subscription box for home design lovers!

The Subscription Box: Skandicrush

The Cost: $50

Coupon: Use coupon code MSA-SEPT to save $15 off your first box.

The Products:  1-4 modern Scandinavian housewares with a retail value of $65-$80.

I think this new subscription box is very unique and I'm pretty sure there is nothing else like it on the subscription box market! What do you think of Skandicrush? (Their first box ships in October, but you can check out sample box examples here).

I just signed up, but I missed the first box. Is there a review or reports about the first box?

Love this box. Just need to figure out what I want to get rid of to get it! $50 a month is a little pricy…

Sounds pretty cool! But the price and the price/value ratio, combined with the no returns policy prevents me from taking the gamble. Maybe after seeing a few real boxes.

They have a few example boxes on the site. None of them look like they’re going to be high value; you’ll probably get the same value you pay but at least they’re curated and Scandinavian products.

I’m not sure I would commit to it for $50 each month, but buying the first month for $35 is worth it for me. Afterwards I may just lurk and watch future boxes so anything I like in the future I can ask my brother to send to me! (He’s going to school in Sweden.)

That was my feeling exactly; it’s more about curation than value. I signed up for $35 but don’t intend to keep it longterm. There’s a page on the site where they say they’ll always use the suggested retail value so that subscribers think they’re getting a good deal:

That means you can probably find the items cheaper on Amazon or allmodern.com.

Signed up but missed where to put the coupon in until after I had put my CC info in. Emailed them to see if they’d still honor it – will let you know if CS is any good!

Heard back from them in a few hours, they said they would figure it out. Today I checked my CC, and they had indeed only charged me $35. Great deal!

for someone like me with a house full of danish teak furniture, this box is PERFECT.

I’m pretty sure I’d be ticked off if I paid 50 bucks for a plastic flashlight and a first aid kit. 😛

I am debating signing up. Sounds like a great concept and I bet the first box will be great.
