Yay! Just canceled and redubbed now I have 600 points! I was also worried about loosing mine but thank u to those that cleared it up! I will have to remember to do this when I can I’m also considering dropping ipsy for a 2nd BB since I always seem to like BB better but I wish ipsy had something in the 500 point reward so I don’t feel like my points go to waste I only have about 650

I just received the best Birchbox ever! First, I got the pink patterned box which I thought was the prettiest one. Then I received the Liz Earle hot face cleanser. Can’t wait to try it. 3 Davines hair products, an Atelier vanilla perfume sample, a lotion that smells great. The best part was the Pixi lip balm in Ripe Raspberry. It’s perfect for me!

My september BBs were the best two I have ever received! They were jam packed with nice size samples!

I have a year prepaid on one box, but I am down with cancelling and resubbing on the other for the points…. except their $%&# review software has been down for more than an hour and I want to review my box (& get the points) before I cancel this sub! Grr

Do you lose/forfeit your current point balance if you cancel your subscription? I’ve had a sub for awhile now and have quite a few points accumulated, but this promo sounds tempting. I just want to make sure I don’t lose my current points.

I have personally quit and resubscribed at least twice with 100 point codes (maybe three, I forget).
You don’t lose any points. Points (and Aces status) are not connected to your subscription (other than that you get some points for purchasing a subscription and/or reviewing items from your box). You can accumulate points and Aces status by only buying things in the shop, if you want.
You can cancel and resubscribe immediately, too. The whole thing can be done in less than 5 minutes.

No, you don’t lose your points, or at least, I haven’t in the past. I was concerned about losing my “Aces” status, but the site says it’s good for a year, nothing about keeping subscription active, so I cancelled and will re-subscribe using this code for October’s box.
