CEW Best in Beauty Bundle Review Josie Maran

Josie Maran Cosmetics 100% Pure Argan Oil Light - Value $48

dr. brand pores no more pore refiner primer - Value $45

These are both great beauty products I've tried before as samples, and I'm happy to get them in full size! The light argan oil is great for everything from your face to your cuticles, and this dr. brant primer is great for oily skin. (FYI - it is tinted).

CEW Best in Beauty Bundle Review Liner

Smashbox Cosmetics’ Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner in Storm - Value $20

Mally Beauty’s High-Shine Liquid Lipstick Pen in Just Heaven - Value $20

I have enough Mally products to last a lifetime thanks to New Beauty Test Tubes, but this is a great product so I'll feel good about swapping it! And I've never tried Smashbox eyeliner before, and now I'm a fan! I like the graphite color of this shade, and it was super easily to apply.

CEW Best in Beauty Bundle Review Supergoop

Supergoop!® Antioxidant-Infused Sunscreen Mist with Vitamin C, SPF 50 – Travel Size Value $13

100% Pure Whipped Body Butter in Honey Almond – Value $22

I love the 100% Pure brand - they use all natural ingredients, and this body butter is lovely. (The full size is 3.4 oz, a little smaller than what I imagined a full size body butter would be, but a little goes a long way). (And this sunscreen is great if you are looking for a clear and easy to apply SPF).

Verdict: This box has a value of almost $170. This box is definitely on the pricier side, but if you'll use all or most of the items, the value is definitely there. And the curation is definitely there too - these are best-of-best products, (tons of great customer reviews for each one). (Also, this may be TMI, but the actual box was a little flimsier than other limited edition boxes I've received from Birchbox - just thought I'd mention it!)

What do you think of the CEW Best in Beauty Bundle?

Ahhh! So much Mally! I got several in New Beauty Test Tubes as well and for some reason that degraded their value in my eyes. The body butter and sunscreen look fab but there honestly isn’t much else I would want in this box. (Argan oil despises my face and makes me break out like crazy.) The pore refiner may be intriguing but still … unless I had the points for it I wouldn’t go for it!

Are you going to do a review on the other CEW boxes as well?

I’m afraid to use argan oil on my face. But it is WONDERFUL for smoothing out my hair. Granted, I’m not spending $89 on this box (don’t want more pink lip gloss and prefer lotion to spray SPF). But there are other things you can use argan oil for.

I think Liz did review the other boxes. I seem to remember it. Of course, I might be remembering opening them on my own. I liked the “mass appeal” one better, actually.

Found the other reviews – thanks! I tried argan oil on my hair and it made my temple near my hairline break out. Sadness! It’s such a popular product. That said, I’ve used a few other hair oils and they’ve been fine. I may give argan oil on my hair another go and just use it far away from my face!

Yes, the mass appeal box looked like the best but the deal for both is also tempting. I’m wondering if they’re going to bring out a new LE box though.
