Limited Edition Beauty Discovery GlossyBox Review OPI

OPI Nail Lacquer in Pink it Through - FULL SIZE! Value $9.50

Royal Apothic Cream Crème - .5 oz Value $3.75

I'm always drawn to pale pink nail polish, so even though I already have a ton I'm happy to add this shade to my collection! This Cream Creme is a perfumed body/hand cream. It's very moisturizing, but it also is pretty heavily scented (not my preference).

Limited Edition Beauty Discovery GlossyBox Review Serum

Dr Lili Fan Probiotic Eye Serum - FULL SIZE! Value $65

Be A Bombshell The One Stick in Buck Wild - FULL SIZE! Value $16

I love getting full-size skin care products in subscription boxes - you actually get enough of the product to try it for weeks and see if actually works for you. I just started using the Restorsea eyecream from Sample Society, but this one is next to try. (I'm not too happy to see Be A Bombshell cosmetics in this box - I would expect to see this brand in Ipsy, but not in GlossyBox. Plus this brand has just been everywhere in subscription boxes this year).

Limited Edition Beauty Discovery GlossyBox Review Leave In

Mastey Color Protecting Leave-in Therapy Spray - FULL SIZE! Value $25

It is pretty rare to get full-size hair products in boxes, so this was a nice surprise. I also like that it is paraben-free, gluten -ree, synthetic dye-free, etc.

Limited Edition Beauty Discovery GlossyBox Review Hair Therapy

Skin Nutrition Cell-CPR - 10 ml Value $50

Kocostar Hair Therapy - Value $8

Turns out this little Skin Nutrition sample is 1/3 the size of the full-size version - which retails for $150! It has good reviews on Truth In Aging, so I'm going to give it a try!

This hair mask wrap works by putting your hair in the included cap and letting it sit for 15 min. (This interesting video shows the steps).

Verdict: This box has a value of about $175 - very impressive for the $40 cost! Even excluding the Be a Bombshell One Stick I'm happy with this box. What do you think of the Beauty Discovery Limited Edition Box?

I love this box. Enough that when I received it, I ordered another one! The eye serum is my favorite. It has a tingly feeling and really feels like it is tightening the skin area. I like the hair treatment spray and I didn’t realize until now the cost of the little tube of face serum! The makeup stick I got in the brown color in the first box and a reddish pink color in the second. I don’t really care for either. I really look at it as I’m buying the eye stuff at a discount and all the other stuff is “free”.

The value is technically there I guess, but tired of polishes in sub boxes and I definitely don’t need anymore hair products. On the bright side, at least it wasn’t dry shampoo for a change 🙂

And as another person mentioned, I’ve pretty much sworn off Glossybox forever due to their horrible shipping and unapologetic customer service.

Not Liz, but I do know the excitement of seeing a great box. Click on one of the hyperlinks and then on the limited edition which is listed at the top and this box will be yours.

Thanks Anna!

I’ve been thinking about getting this box! I would def use most of it and enough to make it worth the price. What does the cream creme smell like? Is it floral?

I’m unimpressed. For $40 they could do better! If this were Birchbox and I could use my points to get an LE box then sure! But unfortunately it isn’t.

Hello Everyone,
I have been using the skin care products and am enjoying the process. The eye serum, Dr. Lili Fan, tingles when applied. I gave the hair product away. Perhaps I misunderstood but I thought this product applied to hair that has been colored. Overall, I am always thrilled with any Glossybox!

So tempting and then I remember all the problems people have with Glossybox. Love the hair products.

Sneaky Burrito

BaB One Stick and pale pink polish were enough to keep me away. I got a One Stick as a replacement for the stinky ipsy mascara a few months ago and I don’t like it; it is splotchy on my cheeks and shows every little flaw in my skin. I have found very few lip/cheek combo products that actually work for both (I have one from Jane Iredale that is great, but that’s it).

On the other hand, the hair products are right up my alley.
