Julep Maven Subscription Box Review & Free Box Code – Sept

I have been highly interested in Julep for the makeup and body care alone, hand and foot cream and there face oil I’ve heard good things about. I’ve taken there quiz and looks like I’m good for classic with a twist but I still wish they had the option for 1 nail polish and 2 additional items each month. It’s just too much nail polish as tempted as I’ve been by there free box and it’s pricey but the qualIty always looks great so seems to be worth it to me. The lippie looks nice, I always love trying new lip products.

That’s all you get for $25? Rip. Off. Particularly because it’s their own branded stuff, they can just plop whatever overly inflated price they want on each item. I haven’t hears anything about their polish that makes me think it’s worth $14/bottle for even a second. This is one sub I can easily pass up.

For Julep’s 3- Month subscription at the end of the 3 month mark is it over or do they keep billing you for more months? I’m new to it so I wasn’t sure. Thank you!

I got my box yesterday and received the same colors. I’m excited to try them! The only bummer is my Plush Pout wasn’t in my box 🙁 I sent them an email but we’ll see.

I am getting two boxes this month because I have a new subscription that I picked the berry colored lippy and swapped out to colors for a oxygen base coat (that I love, but it goes quickly when you use it 3 times a week). I forgot to skip my old account, which is set to “Classic With A twist” so I received a petty satin polish in a gray/purple color, a lovely red “lupita” and the cardinal red plush pout (gorgeous, but I am swapping).

I signed up for a 3-month subscription. They charged me and now my account does not show any orders whatsoever. It’s almost like it was reset.

I’ve emailed them and I really hope this is resolved quickly because that sure does make me nervous.

You know, I’ve just received the free fall promo box for starting a subscription and I have to say I’m pretty underwhelmed with the colors I received even with going through the whole specification process and filling out my preferences. I was classed as “Classic With a Twist” but I got two Bombshell colors and an It Girl. Gabrielle, Daria, and Queen Anne. I found all of them pretty drab for my tastes, they’ll definitely be going on swap once I get off the wait list.

I’m looking forward to being able to pick out my own collections once I start getting the regular boxes, though! This month has just been a weird color month for me when it comes to subbies, I think.

Oh, and does anyone know on average how long the wait list tends to take for the swap site?

I switched out from boho glam b/c those 2 colors on the julep site (maybe it’s my monitor) looked awful…. almost-black and grey. But in your pix they look great!

I switched to Quinn and Lupita (forget the name of that box) and I switched my plush pout to pink. SUPER excited about the plush pout- I always have very dry lips. Looks great!

My box is expected to arrive on Thursday, I got it girl because I have far too many lip products right now. Looks like the free item is a piece of candy once again this month. Whatever happened to them actually including an item?

I got mine today, too. Totally surprised it came so soon.

I got the Plush Pout in Cardinal Red. I got Mary Lee and Lupita for my polishes and added on Karmen and Celia with Jules. A pretty red box for me, overall…no errors in packaging or shipping, whatsoever. Got everything I ordered and nothing I didn’t.

Love the September birthstone polish but I’m going to wait and use a coupon code to get it for free or cheap once it goes on sale in the regular store.
