I love the mascara! I have been using it for more than a year and I won’t use anything else! They’re Real is by far the smoothest formula I have ever used. I am trying the Glossy Box for the first time this month, I am subscribed to Birch Box and to Ipsy. I have had good and bad samples from both but overall I think they are both doing a good job at showing me things I would not normally think to buy and isn’t that the point anyhow? I sometimes fill up an unused bag with the samples I don’t care for and pass them off to my daughter or a friend. You never know what someone if going to like and they get a little treat too. Who doesn’t love a surprise? Bottom line….subscriptions are fun!

I’m so torn on whether or not to resub! When I first started last year, the glossy boxes were amazing, now they’re just eh… And the They’re Real applicator has stabbed and scratched my eyeballs more times than id like to remember. It’s so sharp and hard! Ugh.

I am excited about this month’s spoiler, but the rest… not so much. Not regretting that this is my last month for a while!

I am new to subscription boxes and need some help. I see that a lot of people comment that they wait for previews to decided to buy. If I am subscribed monthly to Glossybox do they automatically send each month? If I want to skip a month do I need to unsubscribe? Thanks for the help

Yes, they automatically send it. However, the preview for Glossybox does show only 1 item of 5. You do have unsubscribe before the next month if you do not want the box, as they do not have a skip option.

Thank you so much. One more goofy question. When I “resubscribe” do I get to keep my glossy points and can I use the new coupon/freebie code?

Jen

These pretty much confirm for me that I don’t need Glossybox. The Nails Inc would normally tempt me but I already have a completely unused bottle of Ruffian Matte Top Coat.

I’m excited for every month, as usual, but I’m not too thrilled by the spoilers. I’m very excited to try out the highlighter. The juice beauty… Meh. It’s not suitable for sensitive skin and I’m very iffy about anti-aging products (ever since I tried Estee Lauder and Murad Vitamin C creams I’ve been terrified of anti-aging creams and the like). I didn’t like the They’re Real mascara applicator at all. So hopefully the other items are a hit.

I have the same problem. I’m allergic to a lot of the ingrediants. Thank you for mentioning that juice beauty is not for sensitive skin. – I’ll be skipping that one – Mascara I use 100% “pure” and that is the only brand I’ll use.

It’s hard to get too excited about a nail topcoat. If that’s the star product for the month, it doesn’t say much for the rest to be included with it. I’m hoping it’s just A product and not THE product. Everything else looks great to me!

Unfortunately, none of these products excite me. I don’t understand the hype around They’re Real, and I am a huge Benefit fan. They just have way better products than that line.
I’ll wait for unboxings before I decide to buy each box or not.

I absolutely love They’re Real mascara so I’ll always be happy to receive more in sub boxes since the full size is typically rather pricey. It’s the best mascara I’ve tested in years by a mile. The brush is a bit roughy but it does the job amazingly well, both in terms of thickening and lengthening.

Jenny

Erin, well I’m glad it works for you. I’ve had more luck with YSL and Dior mascaras.

Sneaky Burrito

Naturally they’re including a sample of that mascara AFTER I shelled out cash for a mini from ULTA to test it. Hope I like it because I guess I’ll have two now!

At any rate, thinking back, I’ve used more products from Glossybox lately than any other box. So when my sub comes up for renewal, I may have to get rid of something else instead.

Jill

Well, I’m excited about this month and November. Which I guess works out because I have a 6-month sub! Hopefully they’ll have some other good stuff in there too.
