BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. It’s one of our favorite subscription boxes – our dog loves it, and we’ve gifted it to dogs in our extended family as well!

BarkBox customizes your box to your dog’s size. For reference, this review is for the small size (our dog weighs 14 pounds)

These toys are made from cotton canvas and stuffed with a hypo-allergenic eco-friendly fiberfill, and they are machine washable. And most importantly - they are so adorable!

BarkBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon - June 2014 Chicken

Bocce's Bakery Chicken Cordon Blue Treats - Value $6

I couldn't even take a picture of these treats unopened because our dog Buckles had to try them immediately! These treats are made with natural wholesome ingredients, they're wheat free and made in the USA!

BarkBox Subscription Box Review & Coupon - June 2014 Treats

Feel Good Treat Co. Parisian Heart Biscuits - Value $6

I have to say, I love this Paris theme, and Barkbox's note makes it that much cuter: "One nibble will transport your pup from the living room to a classic Parisian cafe." (Also, these biscuits are made with rolled oats, molasses, cinnamon, and nutmeg - and they smell really good!) (These biscuits are made in Canada).

Verdict:  We paid $17 for this box (6 month subscription) and received about $32 worth of items. It's a great value at the discounted subscription rate, and even good for the monthly box ($29 a month). Other boxes have had even higher values. I really thought this box was adorable - who knew out of all the subscription boxes, BarkBox would be able to rock a theme the best?!

What did you think of the June BarkBox? What was your pup's favorite item?

We got the medium sized box!! It had an eiffel tower that Elsa loved until it tore and the treats were a huge hit!

I loved this box! And frankly I have never been disapointed with a BarkBox. Every single thing they put in is always good for my dogs, i never have to worry about shady ingredients or toys that will hurt them. And most importantly my two huskys LOVE this box. They think everybox that i bring i the house is a BarkBox and go nuts 🙂 Of all the boxes that I subscribe to, go figure, the one that is for my dogs is my favorite!

I received the French-themed box and LOVE it! My very picky little shi tzu loved it even more than I did. I am always thrilled when we get food items that I hadn’t heard of that he likes. I did end up swapping one of the toys, but only because he has far too many toys 🙂

This is my first box from the Groupon 3 month voucher deal. My box contained items from the March box. At first I was disappointed because I love the theme of the June box, but now I am not. My furbabies loved the items in the box.

1. Bakers Best Wild Pacific Maple Glazed Salmon and Blueberries 4 ounce which the cats promptly ate.
2. Loopies Specter Floppy durable alien squeaking fetch toy for dogs. My bigger dog hid it from the smaller dog.
3. Safemade Safechew biggie bone for tough chewers. I need to fill it with peanutbutter.
4. Wagathas Breakfast Biscuits – decent size box. I put them in the biscuit container and forgot to look at the size.
5. Package of Twistix. Dogs love them.

Yeah I had the same issue. They were totally re-using old box items on GroupOn buyers. They should really put that on the GroupOn.

I guess I got lucky. I purchased the 6 month deal on Groupon and my July box contained the same chicken treats and French themed stuffed toys as Liz’s box. I received a large Venison rawhide “crepe” instead of the boxes heart shaped biscuits.
