Reminder: Allure Summer Beauty Box 2014 – On Sale at Noon EST!

Did anyone else get an email saying that the Fall 2014 box is going to be delayed until September? I guess that means it probably won’t go on sale until late August.

I was one of the lucky ones that got this box. There were only a few items I really wanted, one of which is the Anti-Aging hair system. I thought I’d be able to come on this site and swap for one or two more of these but, after just signing up to do so, it says I am on a waitlist. Does anyone know where else I could swap for this? Also, I am fair and the BB cream in the box is medium so I’d really like to swap this high value item.

Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks!

I received my box!!! I was one of the few who managed to ninja a box during the first release. Everything came in flawless condition, and I love it! I’m so glad there is a huge focus on hair products. Where I live, it’s about to get incredibly hot and humid, which is the perfect environment to test everything and see what works for my hair!

Hi, I was one of the lucky people and able to receive the Allure box. I will not use the CC cream because I don’t use foundation. Is anyone interested in buying or trading?

I still haven’t received a confirmation email. I called allure and the notsofriendly guy said he could only look up magazine subscriptions. After I put in my cc info, I got a confirmation page with a number but no email. Anyone else yet to see anything?

Mine is coming tomorrow. 12 pounds! So excited to have gotten through the first time. Must have been some kind of miracle.

I agree that this was one big mess! I tried the first day, and refreshed hundreds of times between 3 devices…blank screens everytime. In refreshing the MSA page, I noticed the link someone posted to go directly to the payment page, and after 3 tries, finally did get one. Just dumb luck, I am sure, since 2 minutes after placing my order they took the site down. My apologies to all those that suffered thru this and didn’t get one. For those that did place an order the first Tuesday, I got a shipping notice today, and the box will be here tomorrow. Weighs 12 pounds. I will have at least half of mine up on the trade site.

I finally got one this time. Tried last week and no luck. Tried last time there was a beauty box and again no luck. If anyone is interested, I will be swapping some of the haircare products and CC cream if I get a medium shade, because I have very fair skin. I will also be swapping the mascaras. I am looking to try the First Aid products, which were in the last beauty box that I missed out on. So if anyone has any of those items and they are still in new condition and you’d like to try to swap for something else, let me know.

Ugh..I feel all the peeps that didn’t get one even being on the site early. I myself tried last week with no luck. Got on 10 min before to prepare. 12:01..nothing. Refreshed…nothing..refreshed ..nothing. 12:13 Sold out. Really!!!?? I am pretty peeved about it. It only decided to come up when it was completely sold out. Pretty crappy! And I could have pre-ordered but decided not to since the last box was pretty crappy. Go figure. Guess I will spend my money on other boxes and forget about Allure. Way for them not to fix everything properly.

Woohoo! I preordered mine and it arrived today and while it is heavy on the hairspray I still can’t wait to try everything out! Also my CC cream is in medium, neutrogena color stick is in bright berry, Flower nail polish is I Lavendar You, Cargo gloss is in Tuscany (very pretty shade!) and Sally Hansen polish is in Sparkling Water. 🙂

This was my first time getting this bag. I’m so happy I finally got thru!
I kept trying all 3 links Liz mentioned above. One kept refreshing the page for me but didn’t have a link to purchase. And the other one just had their message of it going on sale today.
I purchased mine from my ipad if that helps. maybe some internet browsers weren’t loading the site properly?? In any case it would be nice if Allure had more boxes for the clearly “high demand” interests.

I was confirmation 5919 and purchased it at 10:05am MST. It was sold out by 10:13am MST

So pissed. I tried last week and this week and the link never loaded until it was sold out. I have never had a problem getting a box. So mad and I don’t think it was fair at all.

Surprisingly I got one…I can’t believe how crazy it is to try to get these boxes! I’m surprised with such demand they can’t make more! I was at the park with my kids looking like a crazy person refreshing the page waiting for it to go live

Do they ever say how many boxes they sell, total? You’d think they’d want to have enough to meet the demand. Lots of people that tried really hard (including me) still couldn’t get one. It can leave people feeling pissed and annoyed with Allure for it. I’m not sure if I’ll put myself through this frustration again. Do they only have, like a hundred boxes total or something?

What the heck, Allure?! Get your stuff together – it’s ridiculous. I spent two hours last week trying to get this box, and, being quite the unlucky person I am, I almost didn’t even bother for round two. At 9:05 PST I was able to grab a box, and by 9:09 they were gone. It has to be some sort of fluke, as I took wayyyy too long filling out my info. So unfair to everyone who waited both times. Insane.

Im not gonna try for this box anymore. The links were not working and when it finally came up they were sold out

This beauty box literally sold out in minutes. It is frustrating because I tried last week and today I was able to fill the order form only to receive a message that my order was not processed 🙁
Also I am from California and the link did not open right at 9:01. At the end it comes down to luck and one must be a fast typer in order to land one. I will try again for the next beauty box.

I call BS on the “fair game”. I had it up 20 minutes prior on 3 different devices. Kept refreshing. As soon as it became live it was sold out? I don’t think Allure will ever get my business again. I am seriously annoyed. After wasting almost 2 hours last week and being so amped up today, I still can’t get it!? So disappointing and irritating.

Wow! Sold out in less than 15 minutes! Link was not working the first 10 minutes but I tried using different links and some how got one! Thanks Liz for the reminders. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!

Finally got one this time after wasting too much time a week ago.

Somehow i was able to get one. I clicked a link another buyer posted on the allure Facebook page. I’m kind of in shock!

I’m really pissed. I don’t understand how I sat here refreshing it every second and I didn’t get one but others did. Did they have like 2 boxes up for sale?
